Hey All,

Latest @BleacherReport A 4-Team Blockbuster to Shake Up the 2025 NBA Trade Deadline - Key is keeping the Hawks under the tax NEXT year, keeping them competitive now (with no 1st) while getting the Suns, Lakers pieces they can use and prospect(s) to Wiz

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10153024-a-4-team-blockbuster-that-would-change-everything-at-the-2025-nba-trade-deadline

Pro - Capela IS a center - does have good size, rebounds, etc. - expiring so provides additional flexibility next year.

Con - Rui out

Cheers,

EP

We are currently 28th in the league in rebounding. Capela would help with that. The problem is we would be playing 4 on 5 on offense with him on the floor.

In order for this to work,DK4 would need to step up in a big way off the bench. We would need more 3pt production from Dorian as well

Interesting scenario. I think he main team to balk on the trade is the Suns who will likely not want to help a division rival in the Lakers to get a missing piece with a backup center of size (unless it meant they get Jimmy).

I can’t believe earlier today we were speculating about a blockbuster revolving around Clint Capela.

True! I missed that part haha

I feel we have to keep Bronny if we want an engaged LBJ...

Mavericks have to be still wondering why they are not waking up from the bad dream

They also had 7 players out including AD and Max. Gafford, Lively, Powell, Kyrie, and Washington.

Anyone who spends any time watching the Hawks would not want any of their players outside of Daniels, Johnson, Trae, and Risacher. We would be better off keeping Hachimura and the picks.
