Without the AD crutch, the team was much more active and did a great job rotating. Clippers will absolutely adjust so it won’t be this great going forward, but the new look stifled them today. Zu normally can take his time or gets wide open lanes to the hoop on the roll, but we had smaller guys getting in his way all night. Lou will counter, but this was a great game plan from JJ today with limited personnel.

Yeah, i'd be lying if I said I don't feel it as well.
Hayes has even been surprisingly good on both ends against a few back to back tough matchups with no AD. I think we're competing regardless this Season but if we can add some quality front court depth, I love our chances in the WC especially. This is going to be an extremely fun Season to watch at worst though!
Good win!!! Good game from so many Lakers!!! The place in the standings, the Knicks win, and this beat down win gives a big middle finger to those that say don’t try to upgrade this year because the Lakers can’t win lol!!!!!

I asked this question a few pages back... could it be possible the personnel we have isn't compatible with the AD half court stuff? It's only a 2 game sample, but dang. And of course DFS and Vando are huge reasons, and the offense is about to get ramped up some more with Luka. _________________ Westside Knecht gang, Knecht gang, bing-bing bang!

AD was a black hole on the court. As soon as he gets the ball, the offense freezes up, and everyone watches. He doesnt pass out of the post either.
