We can lock this and put in the free agent thread. No need for a new one for this guy.

The Lakers signed him to a 2 way contract.

Hated Traore got waived but Goodwin is a decent guard who has done quite well in the G-League.
Kudos to Jordan Goodwin for earning a two-way contract.

Jordan Goodwin (NBA Highlights):

Can we sign Quincy back now too so another team doesn't pick him up? He's on South Bay but another team could still get him.

Jordan Goodwin for those playing the home game is like a poor man's Marcus Smart. Not that that is a bad thing.

Having Williams, Hayes, and 2 other centers as 2 ways I can easily understand dropping Traore for Goodwin. Area of potential need - disruptive defense from a guard who gets his hands on everything. Not a bad place to take a 2 way and see where it leads.

From his highlights, it looks like he has elite level quickness for his hands. I’ve he has good lateral movement, then he could be an elite defender. The fact he’s available for a two way means he must have zero offensive game at all.

Definitely fills a need as a 2 guard defensive guy. Hope he gets some burn.

yeah pretty much. That's why he's a poor man's Marcus Smart. Very talented defender, great twitch and reflexes especially when it comes to poking the ball away, has no consistent offensive game whatsoever.

Guess he's our Reddish replacement? If we end up needing him in the playoffs we can convert him and waive Wood or Kieff

Love that wingspan ... 6'10" on a guy 6'3" is nice.

Presumably this guy would be better than Cam because he knows his limitations.

This should give you a good idea on him. This is pretty much him, no bells or whistles. This is what to actually expect.

Already paid off dividends. He played well and made some big plays down the stretch of this one.
