Yep cutting Len.. which means we basically just lost Wood for nothing. |
So we lost nothing for nothing because that was the summation of Woods laker career or contribution. Nothing. |
Exactly what a disaster Wood was....his own fault too. Good luck in Europe |

We're already dealing with Luka integrating and likely will have to watch plenty of "growing pains" from DK now until Rui returns. Even if Wood was ready to go right now, he hasn't played in a LONGGGG time and is probably nowhere close to basketball shape. Hard pass on that this late in the Season. Nothing for nothing is def. right. |

Cutting Len is obvious as he should have never been signed with better options out there. If they do that it’s them basically acknowledging they made a mistake there & that’s not always easy to do. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Not really a mistake. Not much available and they can take a shot on another guy _________________ Previously Knecht4 and CamReddish |

Alex Len is a scrub. It would of been better getting Jahlil Okafor than this guy. |

I still like Mo bamba. I don’t feel like he got a fair shot here the last time around. Look at bol bol. Sometimes it’s about the right opportunity _________________ “Cuban would never”

Were the Magic, Sixers and Clippers unfair to him, too? _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

JJ saw two games from Len and shut him down quick, it looks like. But I’ll try to give Len the benefit of the doubt no matter how little I believe in him, and say maybe JJ is giving Len some time to learn the playbook before playing him again. |

But we gave up nothing to get him. So it's all good. |
I expect he will be the back up center. 10-15 min a game. He wouldn't have signed here if he wasn't guaranteed a role. He could have signed with Indiana. |
I think he'll do well clocking 10-15 minutes a game and 6 fouls to give. We need a big body like his and he'll do what we ask of him. Exactly the kind of big we need in a limited market and he'll probably get some easy baskets in our offense. |
I've seen Kings and Raptors fans refer to him as "a negative on the floor" and "a basketball terrorist".
Unless he is absolutely horrible in practice. I can see JJ giving him a shot.
But I won't be surprised if he is completely out of the rotation (outside of garbage minutes), eventually. |
The Len signing was clearly foreseeable miss by Rob.
Rob still gets a high grade from me. He made an all-time trade to get Luka. And that trade will just look better and better with time.
But I can still admit, Rob isn't perfect. And he missed on this much smaller move.
But, like I said before. We gave up nothing to get Len. No biggie. _________________ When the world grows. Grow with it. |

Basically, his issue throughout his career is that he doesn't have a strong base, or just isn't strong in general. Because I see a lot of reaching, tapping, swinging, swiping at the ball in the air, instead of being in position to grab it. To be in position to get boards, you need to be strong, box people out, move people around, etc. _________________ "The game is MORE than just one player. I would think the Lakers know Wood is a better player. So obviously, the dude isn't returning this year. _________________ "The game is MORE than just one player. I hope this will be the last game Len plays as a Lakers. I’d rather play Morris at center than see Len on the floor ever again. _________________ Tacos |

I didn't think a 31 year old could be so washed. That's the same age JaVale joined the Lakers. JaVale was also not playing that much beforehand.
But, I guess the difference is that the Warriors' lineups and gameplans heavily revolved around at lot playing Dray at the 5.
Len was just a healthy scratch in SAC. |

Javale could move. Len hasn’t for years. Anyone who watched him at all knew he couldn’t play. That’s why me and a couple others were lamenting the move as soon as it happened. Guys like Buha and Pete from LFR joined us after they watched footage of him. It was an obvious waste of a move to start and it doesnt speak well of our NBA scouting at all. |

Len has been a garbage-time player for the last 3 years. That should have been the clue. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

He's like a 15-16th man at this point in his career. He shouldn't be the scapegoat for a team that has zero intimidation and deterrence in the middle. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Jericho Sims was there for the taking. Im not sure why Rob didnt go for him. Would be a perfect fit next to Luka _________________ He's my GOAT |
