You mean G-league or Shanghai?

He's not a 15th-16th man. He's a can't get into the practice facility, best of luck on your future endeavors, China won't even take you, go enjoy your money and get as far away from our team and the NBA period, man.

I would think the Lakers know Wood is a better player. So obviously, the dude isn't returning this year.

that's my point on how bad Len is, rather have a injured wood for the rest of the year than Len on the roster lol

Well, it seemed like a bad signing at first and it got even worse. Cut him and Reddish.

The biggest shame is the opportunity cost of having him. The Lakers could have added someone who could have potentially helped them more even as a depth piece with their limited cap space. Now they still have a massive void at backup center and no real way to address it short of just converting either Jemison or Koloko.

I would have settled for Biyombo. Big body, can actually provide some resistance in the center.

Should have bet on Wood getting healthy.

Betting on Wood getting healthy has a higher probability than better than Len will be good or contribute anything to the team.

Bismack Biyombo (career 5 pts/6 rebounds) has earned ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS in the NBA.

Life is not fair.

One of the bums who got paid in '16. I remember because I was mad we got Mozgov and not him. Which honestly was valid of me but also wasn't

I can't tell if it is or not, and I did not, could not, watch the game. I'll guess these were more or less garbage minutes (as was the whole game really) (and maybe he was guarded by Sister Mary), but 10 and 9 in 17 minutes (and only a -4, the second best +/- on the team), if nothing else, is better than most ever expected.

His mobility was better. Caught some passes. He was the only one that could keep the Bucks off the boards and Giannis from dunking at will. Arms still looked slow, leading to getting blocked trying to get the ball up high.

He looked playable out there, but the team doesn't play deep drop when healthy, so he's the wrong player for what they want to do.

REPORT: The Lakers are expected to waive Alex Len and Cam Reddish, per
@jovanbuha

https://x.com/LegionHoops/status/1903456898361549118

EDIT: People who paraphrase badly suck. Anyway what Buha actually said was "'I think the only two obvious players to cut on the roster are Cam reddish and Alex Len"' which is still pretty significant coming from Buha though

Buha already explicitly denied having said what the quote says.

Tbh, I would have rather signed proven vets like Howard or McGee who are lob threats and better shot blockers.

Specially if we’re talking about spot minutes. Both can probably give you a solid 10mpg.
