so they realy weak vs below 0.500 teams. which means they can win all the way in the playoffs, coz there's no below 0.500 team in there. 😂😂😂😂 |

It is, it has always been, but we need Houston to lose quite a bit to get it done. We should get to 51, or 52. I don't think we win all the rest of the games, left.
Denver at 3 is more likely the team we can catch as we have the TB over them. It would also put us in a better match up situation in round 2. I much rather face Houston in round 2, than OKC. |

I'd be happy with the 3 seed
Avoid OKC/DEN until the WCF please |

Agreed, but the 2 seed would be so tasty. |

i dont thibk okc will rest their starters vs the Lakers, top spot is still not guaranteed.
I think its a good thing for the Lakers, they will have a chance to play them and formulate a strategy how to beat them in the playoffs. |

The benefit of 2 is you get a play in team. You won't have to face a team like Warriors or Wolves who seem to be playing well heading into the playoffs. The Wolves have Edwards and seem like a dangerous physical team that may play better in the playoffs than RS. Warriors have been better in the Jimmy Butler era. Both teams are beatable, but if there's a first round team you wanna face it's Memphis, Clippers or whomever comes out of the 9th/10th play ins, if they do.
The 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5 matchups seem a lot tougher now that the 5/6 is looking like Warriors/Wolves. |

Going to be a bloodbath no matter what. Lakers can win it alll though when we are firing on all cylinders. _________________ "I bought the Lakers so I could beat the Celtics" - Dr. Jerry Buss |

Those small ball minutes and making 3 pointers will be critical to win playoff series. We have to be able to get away with playing small and a BIG BIG key in any team's small ball success is making 3s and doing great on "switch everything" defense. |

Well we absolutely destroyed the Thunder's big 2 lineups and picked on both Hartenstein and Holmgren to success. We are essentially playing last year's Thunder because we made Hartenstein obsolete. Daginault absolutely has to sit Hartenstein and start Wallace against the Lakers and only play Hartenstein in Holmgren's rest minutes. |

so rockets clinched the 2nd spot? So they can already rest their starters as early as next game or will they go all out vs Lakers to avoid them in the 2nd round? |

Going to depend on what happens vs Dallas, and the standings by Friday.
We beat them last time... If they think they can knock us down the standings and possibly all the way down to play-in... I expect they will try their best to win that game. |

I think if they beat the Clippers tomorrow they lock up the 2 seed. Hopefully they win so they rest guys against us on Friday. |

if not, that means they dont want to play the lakers inthe 2nd round. lol
no coach will risk their key players on a non-bearing game, it will only have a bearing if they are afraid of the Lakers in the playoffs |

Yeah, I don't see Houston playing their starters regardless in the final game.. It's nice to likely have that crutch but hopefully we can take care of business in the next two and let the end of the benches battle instead while all the starters for both teams just cheer from the bench. |

Lakers will lock #3 spot
If they win 2 games
OR

When you say spot secured you mean above the play in right? |

after the Mavs win, Lakers have locked up at least the #6 and avoid the play-in
1 more LAL win against either Houston or the Blazers will lock up the #3 seed. _________________ Never argue with a fool - listeners can't tell you apart

actually they are locked up at least #5, 3 teams will surely have 33 losses and lakers has the superior tiebreaker vs lower teams. |
