We could get away with it for a meaningless game, and I'd like to see it. Plenty of guards and centers, pretty thin at 3-4:
Jordan Goodwin - G
Shake Milton - G
Bronny James - G
Dalton Knecht - G/SF
Markieff Morris - PF
Cristian Koloko - C (maybe PF?)
Trey Jemison - C
Alex Len - C
Hard to imagine Kief getting extended play, if any. But I imagine the rest will be run ragged. Hell maybe JJ should also get that game off. _________________ Luxury Tax/FA Spreadsheet (Save to your Google Drive to edit)
Luka seems to finally be getting in his groove. Do we play him with the boys to keep that mojo going? Only because of the late change to the team, I think there might be some benefit of playing the starters.
Everyone will be sleeping in their own beds for the next 9 days or so including 6-7 days of rest before the first playoff game.
If you rest them, rest them all. Field an 8 man team and only play 7. Bronny, Len, Kokolo, Jamison, Knect, Goodwin, Milton.

And then someone accidentally steps on some other players foot and twists and ankle. Nope. I vote rest up and get ready 💪

Agreed, that's what MLB clubs usually do for meaningless end of regular season games. Usually a vet is allowed to manage those games however the NBA is more strict about player-coaches.
Either way, there's plenty of head coaching experience between Brooks and Nate to allow JJ a day off if he desires a break for himself before the playoffs.
I recall one season finale game also @ Por when Riley sat Magic, Worthy and Byron and the next day Stern slapped a fat fine on the Lakers (probably because the team failed to disclose actual injuries). Similar situation now but somehow we hope that Silver is far more lenient than his predecessor was.

I was half-kidding but good to know that it happens in the MLB too. What's JJ going to gain from coaching mostly non-rotational players right? _________________ Luxury Tax/FA Spreadsheet (Save to your Google Drive to edit)

Not sure Kief can play more than 10 minutes with the shape he is in. 😁 _________________ "I bought the Lakers so I could beat the Celtics" - Dr. Jerry Buss
Play Vando and Hayes to the end of the first half. Let’s be real they will play the least out the playoff rotation regularly so give them time and a chance to shoot and just do dumb (bleep) before they lock in and plays games that will range from 8 mins to 15 mins. Let Markieff sub in for them during the first half
Run a big rotation of Koloko Jemison and Len all second half.
Let Shake sub in for all the 1-3 for the whole game. I want to see the minutes be like a minute break down of
Bronny - 40
Goodwin - 40
Dalton - 40
Shake - 24
I would f around and be like Bron you want to coach your son today. Austin and Luka yall want to coach.

Yay. Rest the questionable folk too (if we have enough people)

Out of all three of the questionable, at least rest Gabe. He’s the best of the three of them and the most useful and likely to get big minutes.
I'd rest Hayes, since he is actually recovering from injury. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
