Blade Runner features a lush, beautiful score by Greek maestro Vangelis. I read that he wrote and performed all the sounds himself, including the wind and brass instruments, via synthesizer. Pretty cool. The "Love Theme" is just amazing.
Oh, I absolutely love discussing soundtracks! One of my all-time favorites has to be the soundtrack from the movie "Interstellar" composed by Hans Zimmer. The way he incorporates organ music with youtube converter intense orchestral pieces just transports you into the vastness of space. It's both haunting and awe-inspiring, perfectly complementing the visuals of the film.
