I brought this on yesterday (Wednesday) at WalMart for 20 bucks.
I read the reviews online, and 90%+ were positive! I've seen this advertised everywhere lately, including the KCAL9 Lakers Locker or something. It did mention, "brought to you by the Perfect Pushup".
So yeah... I wasn't going to get it, but the price said 20 bucks. I tend to blow money on more useless junk anyway, so I figured I'd give this a shot.
Personally though, I haven't done pushups in quite awhile. So reading the instructions, it just said to do as much as you can, and that is your "maximum". Obviously, if you get stronger a few weeks from now, you can increase the maximum stuff.
The guide says it only takes 2 minutes a day. And you do it every other day. I only did it once on yesterday, so I can't really say much about it. My shoulders are sore as hell today though, because like I said... I haven't done pushups in such a long time. Might be well over a year. I'll do it again tomorrow.
Only thing I have to say though, is that it's definitely STABLE. But I need to get used to holding the little bar thingy. When you do it on the floor, your hands are pressed on the floor, so it feels more stable that way. This one, you need to grip it and turn the pushup handle as well (because it helps), and I haven't gotten used to it yet.
Bottom line... buy it, if you don't care about 20 bucks. It could very well be worth it. Obviously though, you should know pushups aren't equivalent to a whole workout. This is only for upper body. You can't just do this and not do other exercises. _________________

i have one from walmart..works well and its stable. smooth rotation
it really incorporates all the other muscles into the pushup by rotating your shoulders. its just like doing a bench with free weights except in a pushup position. if you dont want to use the rotation..you can just simply not rotate. saves a great deal of strain on the wrist for me. i like it..i mixed it in with my workouts at home.

just do 250 pushups before going to bed and you will be allright. _________________ A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.Jackie Robinson
My chest, tricepts, forearms and back are hurting.
I just got them a few weeks ago and I like them. I'm just wondering if there will be any rotator cuff issues down the line? I was looking at some reviews and two people said they had torn rotator cuffs after using them. Then again, everyone doesn't know what they are doing when they work out, could be isolated issues.
By the way, Greg-Dawg, 63 posts in one day? Is that a record here. I see your getting your money's worth. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest

LOL!
The best part about the PP, is that it straightens your body because of the the extra lift you have off the ground. _________________ The best game in the whole world!
i used to be able to do these crazy as it sounds. as well as the fist pushups. and the occasional diamond push up. where you put both your hands together in a diamond shape. and make sure your nose touches in the middle of that diamond. very difficult even when i was in solid shape. the one armed. but all that stuff comes with just doing them often. i've seen guys that dont look the part but can do pushups for days. just because they always do them.
