Well that's just a band list. It's not like each of those guys were headlining.
But I'd guess 80-100 concerts. I used to go at least 4x a month for several years.

| Back in my late teens/early 20's we were friends with one of the guys from Avalon Attractions. Eventually we got to know everybody, and we'd just have to show up and we'd be backstage. Fun times. |

I know some of you cats will make fun of me, but john Mayer is great live. He's an amazing guitar player and you can tell that he loves his music. His new live DVD came out today. I highly recommend it.

Actually, years ago DMB shows were actually really good. Not great, but well worth attending.
Then he became a super-touring-mega-spectacle and his shows actually got boring.
Saw him at the Hollywood Bowl a couple years back and my wife and I walked out saying, "well there's one band we won't be seeing anymore". |

In the time since this thread was originally alive, I've had the opportunity to see Springsteen again -- he absolutely never disappoints. (Added bonus -- I took Emplay with me.)
He's now leaving the middle part of the setlist totally spontaneous -- he has the audience bring signs, collects them during one song, then goes through them & picks out a few. Neither he nor the band has no idea what they'll be playing until right before the song starts. The songs often aren't even Springsteen songs -- at the concert I went to, they did "Proud Mary" and it turned out amazing, especially when you consider that it's not their song, they hadn't rehearsed it, hadn't soundchecked it, and had no idea until right then that they'd be playing it.
From the show I went to 4-16, "Raise Your Hand" (showing sign collection and choosing a song to play):

That's very cool!
I will ad that any band that's been together for a while has spent time playing "covers" for fun, together and apart. I doubt the group had never played proud mary before then, and i suspect their choices have something to do with material they are familiar with and have noodled with before.
