I didnt want to say stunted because i thought that was bad form...
I was having this conversation with some friends and family after the laker game on Sunday (also it was in the latest issue of GQ)...
but Which actor played the best "Mentally challenged" character?

-Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump
-Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man
-Leonardo Dicaprio in Gilbert Grape
-Sean Penn in I Am Sam
-Peter Sellers in Being There

if you think of any add it.

These are all great, except ive never seen Being there but i heard its a great movie...but for me it was Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump... Great Role and unbelievable Job by Tom Hanks.

The younger brother (played by Toby Kebbell) in Dead Man's Shoes runs circles around Hanks' and Penn's laughable jobs imho.

Dicaprio was solid.

I liked Forest Gump the best, Rainman came in second.

Jessica (Alba, Biel, or Simpson) trying to play anything more serious than a vapid piece of eye-candy is always heart-warming in a pathetic way.
