carlin was amazing no doubt.
cosby has to be mentioned too, and i love bill maher.

but somehow, i think the guy that realy gets to me personaly most often is ricky jarvais.
i just find almost anything he does hillariously funny and genius.

A couple not mentioned....

Bo Burnham-best musical comedian I've seen, wordplay is incredible

Russell Peters-it always amazes me how he's able to cover such a wide range of ethnicity in his shows

A person I wish did more stand up: surprisingly, Kevin James. Sweat the Small Stuff was one of my favorites.

I insert live because those mentioned I saw live. Flip Wilson in person was the best of the group. When you are taking a drink and laugh without control bad things happen, I actually spit my drink on the table, that was embarrassing.

I saw Kings of Comedy live. Sheryl Underwood is good.

no one mentioned George Lopez!! im black/white but i relate to the black comedy. but george makes me feel the hispanic culture the way eddie and richard pryor make you feel the black culture.

and props to whoever mentioned kevin hart. he will be up there when its all said and done. he is an up and coming great young comic
