Hands down, my favorite place is La Cabanita in Montrose, which is always worth the drive (I'm in the west SF Valley) but I can't seem to find any place that is closer (for the times I don't feel like making the drive) that even comes close to La Cabanita.
Dying to know where LG'ers go for great Mexican food. _________________ Rest In Paradise Kobe & GiGi |

I live like less than 5 minutes from this place.
I've always wanted to go try their food.
I think I'm going there in a few weeks. _________________ =======================

And sorry if this is a duplicate post, but I scanned all of the other Best of's and the closest thing I saw was Best Burrito. I'm looking for a good place with a variety of great dishes and a good margarita on top of that. _________________ Rest In Paradise Kobe & GiGi

I have... good food & good prices. Not as good IMO as La Cabanita and seating (you order at the counter and seat yourself) can be hard to come by depending on what time you go. _________________ Rest In Paradise Kobe & GiGi |

Here are the best taco spots in LA. Period.
1. El Taurino on Olypic and Hoover (Best Al Pastor in town)
2. Taciza on Figueroa (Close to usc, south of pico - Best Asada in Town)
3. El Tepeyac in Boyle Heights (Try The Kiko's Special, best enchiladas in town.)
I dare anyone to go to these places and not be disappointed to have to go to taco bell or most other taco spots. _________________ "There is no such thing as a former Lakers fan. You either are, or you never were."
