Kareem:

What prospects do you have for Bynum this year? Numbers, importance in the team...

Do you continue to work with Drew until when?

Who's the real G.O.A.T.? You, Magic, or Kobe?

(1) CAP What was your feeling when Elvin Hayes and the Houston Cougars broke UCLA's 47 game winning streak and Hayes did some bragging?

(2) Which did you enjoy playing most, college or professional basketball and why?

Side note; Clifford or Miles

Response from Cap: Who's Hayes??

Elvin Hayes
Jabbar, Lew Alcindor at the time, had suffered a scratched eye ball and was not 100%, when the Cougars beat them. Houston, starring Elvin Hayes broke UCLA's 47 game win streak and Hayes was talking head. UCLA beat them handily at their next meeting and Kareem showed Hayes how the game was played, literally embarrassed Elvin. I remember the defeat and was, as were many, surprised UCLA lost, it was a close game.

Caps out of the country so he hasn't been in contact with him. He's due back on the 18th. Got that from DB, I PM'd him.

Thanks Jodeke. Still - how will we know? Is DB going to make an announcement in the thread title?

I met Cap a little over ten years ago, so I guess this is more of a follow up question:

At the time, I asked him why he thought no NBA team would give him a coaching opportunity.

Now I would like to know how it feels to get an opportunity to coach in the NBA? And how satisfying is it to be on the Lakers staff (Versus any other team)?

And let him know I kept his autographed ball in my office ...

I have a few questions for Kareem. Why did he feel it necessary to make a negative comment through twitter of all places, about Ron Artest's mental state after his announced signing with the Lakers? How can a negative public comment about Ron Artest help his current psyche as he joins his new team?

Artest is a formidable front line player but he is emotionally erratic so we'll see what happens.

Thx. It's not over the top but also not called for if you're a Laker coach. Ron hasn't had a blowup in quite a while. It's time to put some things behind us.

Cap,

With Bynum having suffered another tough injury and rehab this last year,
how much do you think that affected his play during the post-season with
the boot still on and the mental worry of a re-injury?

If another team or possibly the Lakers offer you a Head Coaching position will you take that offer?

Hey Cap,

Do you find it strange that nobody has ever asked you about Bynum possibly using the skyhook at some point?
