My personal "must watch" sports TV schedule for today:
12:40 - Peach Bowl (UCF) - ESPN
5:00 - WVU B-ball game - ESPNU
5:00 - CFB Playoff Game - ESPN
8:00 - Lakers Game - League Pass
8:45 - CFB Playoff Game - ESPN
a lot of multi-screening.... |

I know I have brought him up before....but isn't Shaquem Griffin (UCF) one of the most inspirational athletes you have ever seen? Guy is playing at the highest level.....on a huge stage...and is as good as anyone on the field with only one hand! |

OU has come undone since going up 31-14 near the end of the first half. Their horrible squib kick gave Georgia 3 points, and OU has been unable to do anything since halftime. 31-31 after 3. |

Free football. Really didn't like OU's last two 3rd down play calls. |

90% of that loss is on Lincoln Riley.....absolute atrocious play calling in 2nd half.....dude's b-hole got tight, and he choked with poor play call after poor play call. |

What a game, perhaps the best Rose Bowl I have ever seen and I have seen a LOT of them.
Both teams showed tremendous heart and courage, sensational stuff. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

You were right, those guys can play with anyone. That kid Griffin is inspirational and the QB was fantastic. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I blame Charles Barkley as soon as he walked into the NBA on TNT set wearing a Baker Mayfield jersey I knew the Sooners would lose.
Ernie is so going to rub it in on Thursday
I prefer Georgia of the four teams remaining its just that Oklahoma can beat Alabama I don't trust Georgia to do it.
I just realized the National Title game is in Atlanta that's like a home game for them. |

Sadly for OU fans, I must agree with you. I will never understand running option plays to the short side of the field, and they did that late in regulation on a critical 3rd-and-3 when a first down would've put them so close to running out the clock, and they did it again on a play in the OT. |

Will it be an all SEC final? This would encourage the selection of more SEC teams in the future that didn’t win their conference. |

They should have gone for it on 4th and 1 in OT. |

I agree...give it to Baker, and have him run right up the back of your best tackle to get the yard. OK's run defense was bad....worse than what I expected....but in the end, I think Riley's inexperience caught up with him....he did kinda similar....almost the same thing against Iowa State....got conservative when it was close...kept calling same plays that failed the same way each time....running options and power reads to the boundary side of the field....kept getting bottled up. That is just not Oklahoma or the Big12 style....playing right in to the hands of a team like Georgia. You have to let Baker sling it or make plays with his feet.....have to risk it. |

Maybe if it was 4th and one ON the 1. But even then you are needlessly putting yourself in a do or die situation. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Going into today, the CFP Committee told us the teams were ranked as follows:
1. Clemson
2. Oklahoma
3. Georgia
4. Alabama
After the games, I think most would rank the teams:
1. Alabama
2. Georgia
3. Oklahoma
4. Clemson |

Yep. The results show the field should have been flipped.
No doubt the two best teams are in the Championship game. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

I don’t agree at all but I’m seeing a lot of these types of comments:
Quote: | So unbeaten Central Florida beat Auburn, which beat Georgia and Alabama, which will play for the national title |
