Never liked CP and never will. I stand by my comment many years ago that I'm GLAD he didn't join the team. No way I could root for that whiny/flopping punk.

He got a finger in his eye. And on the Spectrum angle it really looked like Paul put his finger in Rondo’s eye and then tried to shove it inside.

He did....there is a still shot picture showing CP's finger poking into Rondo's eye!! That to me should get the biggest punishment....much more dangerous than a punch.

Rondo gained my respect for not backing down from punk (bleep) Paul.

The tape doesn't lie. Paul was acting like an ass. Didn't react like he was spit on at all.

CP3 does put his hand on his face before poking Rondo. Rondo obviously did not intentionally spit from the replay but they were so close that it's not unrealistic to think some saliva or sweat hit CP3. Still, poking someone's eyes like that, ridiculous. That (bleep) will get you a beat down on any pickup ball game.

Watch Carmelo Anthony right before CP3 wipes his eye. It looks to me like if there is spit, it’s coming from Carmelo.

There was a second spitter.

Given CP3's notorious flop reputation (google him with Demarcus cousins), i wouldn't put it past him to "flop" a spit here and try to dig up another tech on Rondo. You can see CP3 watching where the ref goes and then he grabs at his face the second the ref is no longer looking at them. Rondo is also standing at angle to CP3 when this supposedly happens. How is he spitting on him?

Although i guess if anyone can no-look spit, it's Rondo.

I loved the Rondo signing then and I loved it more now.

Unlike CP3, Rondo is a champion. Not backing down to a dude that barks at everyone.

I agree, the finger in the eye was very dangerous. If I was Rondo and Lakers management, I would take that right to then commissioner. Anyone can take a punch, but you scratch an eye or worse, it could end your career.

Hope the league does the right thing.

Bravo Rondo. Love you even more now and love Ingram for not taking crap from those punks.

I forgot to mention that rondo was playing very well this game. I am a big lonzo guy but whats the rush to have lonzo start? He could learn ALOT from rondo in terms of toughness, organizing the offense and finishing at the rim.

If Zo does well during Rondo's absence, do you think Rondo remains the starter after the suspension?

You can write league offices

Let them know how you feel about CP3 trying to Maliciously ASSAULT with intent to do grievous harm to our star player

Rondo was doing great that game and CP3
Intentionally
Consciously
Chose to potentially injure the Career of a NBA employee

This went beyond "I'm Angry at you"

Malicious intent to do grievous bodily harm

Punching in the face as defense is 1000 different than
Choosing to harm a man's career

Longer suspension to CP3

*BI gone more than 10 games

Yeah, if someone spits on your face, the natural reaction would be to wince your face and jerk your head back. Paul just casually wipes his upper mouth/nose area while peeking to see if the ref is looking their way.

I think Ingram gets 5-7 games
Rondo 5 games
CP3 2 games

Harden gets more calls throughout the year as his reward.

Can't stand this guy and his p***y way of flopping.

Figures that CP3 would only get the smallest amount of suspensions. Both him and Harden have been flopping the whole game and no calls the other way when BI drives the lane (or any other Laker). That officiating was HORRIBLE!! IMO they’re the ones that should get suspended for the blatant flopping. I’ve said it many times, I’ve never been a fan of the way Harden plays with all the flopping and travelling he does.

Now Harden gets to play with one of the biggest floppers in the league. It was hard to watch the parade to the free throw line last night.

Spot on. But here's the thing, Houston will never win a title with these two pu***ies.
