Yeah, and the one season in which Bynum was the #2 (under Brown), Pau averaged career lows, the offense was stagnant, and the Lakers got knocked out 4-1 by OKC in the second round. IMO Bynum was a black hole on offense. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Bynum played through knee injuries and helped us win a title, playing on a swollen knee that needed drained every couple games, a knee that was pretty much unsalvageable afterwards. This happened before the long surgery/rehab and the headcase antics that some posters can only remember him by now.
I'd be very surprised if Bynum can still contribute meaningful regular season minutes, but it's a trivial cost to the Lakers to give him a workout.
