I don't like this new unselfish Kobe. Also, Howard should get way more touches in the paint. The only time Metta should be allowed to dribble the ball is when he is in a mismatch in the paint.

Free throws were the reason we lost tonight. 12-31 is just pathetic. Howard really can't shoot 3-14 all the time if we want to win, especially because he will most likely be getting the most free throws. Unfortunately neither Nash nor Kobe shot any FTs tonight so our total percentage was like 38%.

This is going to be the rationale for people around here:

"OH IT'S ONLY PRE-SEASON"

"Oh it's only regular season"

"Oh, it's only game 1 of the playoffs"

"We can still force a game 7"

"(bleep)."

And by the way, Nash is by far the worst defensive player in the league. Major liability on every aspect of defense. Teams don't even need to run screen and roll against us. Just go with a quick guard against Nash every posession.

i hate our backcourt

kobe probably wont play (he better be out this season like 20-30 games at least. otherwise hell be dead in playoffs, the guy is 35)

nash is 40 and only will play 30 min per game

blake, so called backup sg, metta(suffers from serious mental issues) and other trash bench

our backcourt and title hopes totaly depend on nash and kobe

i say this is a 50/50 game

should have been posting them up all night...it was working every time they did it. wish they wouldn't have wasted so much time just dribbling at the top of the key for 12 seconds before initiating anything...

We have Nash, Kobe, Pau, and Dwight, hardly any fastbreaks and poor free throw shooting, MB has got to realize he's gotta push the ball, even metta got something going pushing it up the floor. Mike Brown CANNOT BE THAT STUPID TO NOT TWEAK THE FREAKING OFFENSE SO IT HAD MORE FLOW!

That being said it's only the first game, we are going to have ugly losses for the next 2 months, they will be steam rolling fools come January.

Omg i got a headache over this garbage. FIRE Mike Brown, it's plain to see he sucks. Steve Nash is not looking good in this offense at allllll. Lets bring in Mike D'antoni for offense and Sloan for defense. D'antoni's offense will be easy to learn since Nash already played under him. Or even Sloans offense had that Stockton to Malone that was damn near unstoppable. Anyone but Mike freakin Brown

I'd say Howard got the touches, but he was fouled and missed too many fts. His free throw form is looking good though. He just needs to start hitting them in the game. If he gets that down, the team will definitely be better.

As bad as it looks, we lost the game at the FT line

the best acquisition of the offseason was james harden. even dwight/drew was largely a lateral move.

thats what I said before the move happened...people here thought I was crazy...only positive is we don't have to worry about knee issues anymore, but injury aside? No Comment! I mean, what happened to the pick and roll and gazelle running huh? blocking everything without fouling and getting every rebound Like I said before pg and pf has been the problem, that hasnt changed. Especially the pf spot. I aint saying no names.

Thanks Just-Ming. Looks like the big difference for the two teams was the free throws. Dallas just made more of them than we did.

Mathematically speaking, the chance of a team lose 9 games in a row is 0.1953%, meaning 1 in 512...

That's the same probability that MB is NOT the worst coach ever...
