Clearly, I am a terrible NBA fan because:
0. (bleep) scott foster and anyone else involved for allowing the use of illegal screens to defeat the L.A Lakers.
1. (bleep) kevin durant for every single time he was bailed out this series
2. (bleep) russell westbrook for every childish spaz attack, and seizure this series
3. (bleep) james harden: lowering your head and driving to the hoop knowing you WILL get a foul call every single time is not BASKETBALL.
4. (bleep) ibaka for not being on the lakers instead of andrew bynum
5. (bleep) kendrick perkins for being kendrick perkins
6. And most of all, (bleep) every single okc fan who cheers on what they think is "basketball".
(bleep) oklahoma city thunder as a franchise. I hope you guys get murdered by the San Antonio Spurs.
See you guys in the General NBA thread from now on. Our season ends here, but I GUARANTEE next year will be different. |
Me too.
I want a pure sports, not the corrupt league. |

Cmon guys, Durant is really good. No need to bash the kid because the refs bails him out. If someone said Lebron or Durant I would honestly go with Durant. He has that killer instinct |

without him, we wouldn't be anywhere.. we wouldn't have won against Denver to even get to this point.. so shame on you for thinking bad about the mamba |
Yeah well we might as well have not had him because he did a fine job of canceling his own contributions out this series. |

Series wound up feeling similar to the '09 Finals...except from the loser's side. Game 1 blowout, but Games 2-4 were much up for grabs. In '09 the Lakers got 2 of those those to go up 3-1, this time it was the Thunder. Oddly enough, the situations behind those games aren't very different either. Magic had a great opportunity to take Game 2 but Courtney Lee missed that layup at the end, and they also had that big lead in Game 4 and wound up losing. All in all, both series were a lot more competitive IMO than most people will remember a 5 game series for. Not that it really matters though.
Probably a bunch of other similar series as well. Sucks to see it from the losing side, but I guess that's the cycle of sports. |

BLOW IT UP MITCH!!! |
He already did.
Sold the Lakers 2009 1st round pick for cash (didn't want to pay a rookie $1 mil).
Got rid of Trevor Ariza (didn't want to pay him $8 mil).
Got rid of Jordan Farmar (didn't want to pay him $4 mil)
Got rid of Shannon Brown (didn't want to pay him $3.5 mil)
Got rid of Lamar Odom (didn't want to pay him $8 mil)
That's called blowing a team up.
Mitch blew up a championship team and downgraded the roster to save Buss $$$money$$$.
Thought guys like Steve Blake and Josh McRoberts could get the job done! LOL |

I'm a LeBron hater. I know I'll get flamed for this but James almost had a 40/20/10 game with 2 blocks and 2 steals. 40/18/9 on over 50% shooting. Took no threes. Kobe went 18/33 1-6 3pt attempts, no assists and only got to the line 3-4 times. Just sayin'. |
