As someone who loves the midrange game (YAY Ingram) I find this new analytically dominated "3's and dunks" style of basketball (a style Harden employs) to be ugly (bleep). |

Can someone explain why BI didn't clamp down and double Gordon? He runs toward the basket on the first pump fake. What was it 4.0 seconds left and he doesn't give any help defense. Just Brainless. _________________ "If you see me in a fight with a bear, prey for the bear". Ive always loved that quote. Thats "mamba mentality" we don't quit, we don't cower, we don't run. I've been a Maginka supporter since the beginning but man, the critics got a awfully good argument against him right now. |

LeBron did his team... "his guys"... a dirty here. I'm wishing we hadn't signed him TBH. I want to whine a little about the FO too (previous and current, both), because if they had done a better job drafting we wouldn't have needed to sign him in the first place. I'm thinking back to the Randle pick (could have chosen Jokic, Capela or Nurkic with that pick if we wanted a big guy)... and to the Lonzo Ball pick too (we should have gone either DeAaron Fox or Tatum). Let's say they went with Capela and Fox... because nobody knew how good Jokic would be, and Boston wouldn't have traded their first pick if they knew we weren't taking Lonzo.
Fox - Russell - Ingram - Kuzma - Capela.
What a brilliant young starting 5 that would have been, and with no need to sign LeBum to come destroy everything. We'd also have had other stars/FAs just lining up to join with how good it would/could have been. Oh well, hindsight is always 20/20. Trust the process and do it well, that's the key lesson here. Don't try to work things too soon.

The real losers are the fans...all these teams blowing up their lineups in search of the holy grail results in nobody to cheer for anymore, nothing is of value anymore, and if you have a favorite player he's likely gone.
If you wait long enough, most of your hero's will let you down, and magic has really screwed up. Gutting the team for AD is absurd, this team was good enough to beat GS on xmas day. I have no problem with getting rid of ingram and lonzo, but to even consider trading a talent like Kuzma was the absolute end for me. |

Yup, cos when he's not driving to the hoop... he mostly just backs his big fat booty (aka his bum) into players. Pun intended. The real GOAT (Jordan) had way more moves, and so did lil GOAT (Kobe). Lebron is the faux-GOAT.
PS: This the moan and whine thread. Can't you let me rant in peace? I even put my post in [rant] [/rant] tags. |

Yeah, I've never been a LBJ fan that is not changing. However, he gives us
lots of opportunities to win, if only the rest of the guys on this team could hit
their shots. And there is no denying that at 34 he is still one of the best players
on the planet. So is he the problem or is it the guys that can't hit a Ft, can't hit
a 3, etc.
They have been doing better at D, but they look like g-league players when they
go up against legit talent. _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team ! |
