I think in the first quarter the Lakers will show what they're made of. The starters will play with earnest.
Mike's still experimenting with the bench rotation. I believe his first rotation is the one he's thinking about settling on.
Second and third quarters are experimental also. Start the fourth with starters, experiment till the end game, then it's closer time.
This is how I believe the game will play out tonight. It's a Clipper home game so it'll be on NBA TV.

I want to see Glock and DJO, there's no reason MB should not play them with Kobe out and Clippers probably not playing CP3 at all.

I'd like to see them get some burn also. I don't think Mike has them in his plans so far. It's getting close to RS, he has to cement a starting five and a solid rotation. He has a dilemma most coaches would die for, to much talent.

Mike's no Phil Jackson, Remember Phil didn't care much about PS wins. Some on LG got on him for not caring enough about RS wins. Phil was all about the playoffs and finals.

Am I the only one that's OK with Kobe and Dwight not playing? IMO it gives the team the opportunity to play extended minutes with a substitution lineup that will ultimately help us. Hill and Pau will likely be the regular season main big sub package so that gives them more time to gel in the front court. Nash and Meeks will likely get a lot of minutes in the back court as well this season.
That leaves rotations of Dwight/Jamison and Blake/Kobe still to be worked on later on down the road, but these sub combinations are going to be prevalent come the regular season IMO. No better time to play them extensively than now.

| Not sure why LA wants Devin to be more of an SG than a SF. He's played at the SG position a number of times this preseason. In his spot, Jamison has done SF (not so great at it right now too). |
