I would've rather lived with Lebron taking a contested layup vs Reddish who has missed 85% of his threes this season

Kind of right though. We’re missing half our rotation

I cannot support giving cam, reddish the last shot. I don’t care how wide open he was.

It will be a day of celebration when we stop employing trash Klutch clients as a favor to LeGM.

Watch how that will change when Lebron is no longer playing.

He had Wood under the basket tho. That pass to Reddish was unnecessary

Just not a fan of any play design where Cam reddish is a viable option, occupying prime real estate mind you (shortest 3 on the floor), and in a spot to make a difference. Doesn’t matter if he misses a swing pass to Prince (who should be getting the easy corner 3, not the harder shot on the wing). Coach should know there’s a good chance Cam either has to take the 3 or misses that read—putting him there is just too much risk for reward (14% three point shooter are you kidding me Darvin?)

One hundred percent Prince or AR needs to be in that corner, and the corner opposite. AR should inbound, Wood should screen for Bron to get the ball, and Prince needs to be in the far corner. Cam down screen for Wood, then sprint up to the wing and hide. LeBron drives with Prince/AR in either corner and Wood available as a dump off option if his man commits to Bron. This sets up a likely one on one drive for Bron, easy passes to corner threats if their defenders crash, and Wood for dump off or O rebound opportunity. Cam hiding by the wing.

If prince was in the corner, he wouldn’t been open, the man guarding reddish was going to be the help guy on woods regardless

Crashing from the wing to help on LeBron is a lot different than coming from the corner.

He wasn’t crashing to help on lebron, he would be crashing to wood to take away the passing lane. Bam was helping on lebron

3 players collapsed to the Rim and left Reddish wide open. I am sure they won't leave Dlo that open

Did you watch the game? Dlo was ejected

Oops sorry. I might have missed it.

Pretty sure it happened during a commercial break, at least on the radio.

Regardless of anything we had 5 opportunities to win the game down the stretch and got the stops we needed each time.

LeBron missed three early in shot clock.
LeBron turnover Charge.
Reaves gets open for three.
Reaves open three point shot
Cam Reddish wide open for three

Either one of those goes down and we win the game. It's not like we didn't have opportunities or good shots. WE didn't convert on them, and Ham can't go in and make the shots for us.

This person wrote it out for me so I don't have to. But I just heard this on spectrum.

Anthony Davis says on @SpectrumSN that his hip spazzed up. He felt fine coming out of halftime but then it spazzed up again. Then the same thing again in the third quarter.

He says he feels fine though and is getting ready to play on Wednesday.

Would be a hard pass since the direct lane was blocked, but I believe wood would got the rebound if lebron force the layup

On Access SportsNet they're saying that A.D. came back to the bench for the fourth quarter and was actually standing up periodically and cheering. So hopefully his whatever injury isn't too bad?

He will probably be re-evaluated in 2 weeks

I love AD for trying to play through it on Wednesday but he should take a few games off if we can’t beat the Rockets and Blazers then it doesn’t matter who’s on the floor

If you overanalyze all of these last second plays to death, you can come up with a lot of optimal situations in hindsight. For instance, LeBron boxing Bam out and tipping it in, or passing it to Prince instead of Reddish once Lowry dug in. It's like looking at a missed penalty kick and thinking, but what if he shot in the left corner, it was wide open!!! The reality is everyone's got a unsychronized mental clock running out in their head, there's a set play, and you really just look to get a single good shot out of this.

Double tech, actually. That second one ultimately doomed us.

That’s promising. Sounds like AD wants to play on Wednesday. Let’s see if the training staff make him sit out though.

14% 3 point shooter taking a 3 is not a good shot.

Cam had more than enough time to pump fake and go in for an uncontested dunk

Hard maybe for lesser players, but i don't think it would be impossible, especially for a playmaker of his calibre. In fact, that should have been an easy drop off with the left, if he anticipated Bam coming over and slowed down before the pass. But if he managed to get a shot off, Wood probably cleans up, agreed

Overanalyzing the last play is not worth it.

We had 5 possessions down 1 to win it and we couldn’t score.

I’m not blaming Bron for the pass or Reddish for taking the shot.

My only issue would be Hams placement of the players on that offensive possession

we knew we were going to start better than last year but not be as good as we finished the year. ESPN had us at 43 wins which is probably right. we will eventually have a 5 game win streak.
