Dont mind the guy as the 3rd pg at all... I think he be a decent back up for real cheap next season. |

Hope we keep him... if we don't use him, someone else will.
Finally getting some confidence and playing like a rotation player. |

What are the rules for two-way contracts? Will anyone be able to offer him a deal this summer (basically an UFA)? Is he eligible for another two-way?
Ideally, I'd want him toggled between the G-League and the open roster for one more season. He's playing focused right now because he's pissed. He thinks he deserved a bigger chance this year, and that anger and frustration is helping his game.
I drag him one more year before signing him to a real contract ... but if his reps insisted on no more 2-ways, I would acquiesce. He's too valuable a player to just let walk over a refusal to give him a minimum deal. _________________ A creative scorer, a wing defender, and a shooter. |

He’s not trying to be a 3rd point guard. If you view him as that then he’ll just go somewhere else for the guaranteed $$$. But whatever man. |

He's played great this road trip; hope he gets a contract somewhere. |

With 5 steals today it appears that he was the only Laker remotely interested in playing DEFENSE.
Pay the man! |

I think he has earned the right to be back. Love his intangibles. I'd re-sign him to a two year deal, keep Rondo and Javale at reasonable deals, and sign J. Butler or K. Walker to a max deal. Draft? Take BPA at either guard or C. Thoughts? |

I like him as the 3rd point guard... He showed flashes last season but always choked when given prolonged minutes... this garbage time period hopefully has built some confidence that will carry over next year.
I'd sign him, because if we don't, I bet someone else will. |

So, re-sign Caruso, Javale and Rondo to deals. Sign Jimmy Butler to a 4 year deal at between 25-30 million, and draft BPA at guard or center??? |

This. And I think that McGee will be priced out of our range. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Agreed. Draft a guard to replace Rondo (C. White), sign Caruso back, max J. Butler or Kemba, sign Javale or best big man for the 4.8 million exception. |

Yes re-sign Caruso. Exception to McGee or maybe Dedmon. |

I would keep him. 3 year deal, team options (like how the 76ers used to do it). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I like Caruso, he has shown something. He also has room to grow. Re-Sign him please. I wish we saw him earlier in the season. No more Rondo please. I'm good with signing McGee too |

He's less of a ball dominant guard compared to Rondo and that's a good thing. I still want to see Bonga develop, but Caruso should be the back-up pg next season. |

Start Caruso over Zo, besides being good at hitting the floor, he can hit 3pointers! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

Agree. He is playing better than zo. More fire. Also seems like he can improve |

He's a keeper. Stop losing assets for nothing. Thanks. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

You guys are funny.
But we should absolutely keep him. Backup PG, 5th guard, whatever. He seems to be exactly the type of player Magic claims to want on the team. |

Is that the reason he did not get any playing time when we actually needed him and he (+ Zubac) could have helped us stay in the playoff race? _________________ .

I assume that’s a rhetorical question. At any rate, he is tough and plays hard and smart, and that’s the type of player Magic wanted last summer when he signed Rondo, Lance, etc. |
