he had a bad game, i think, only scoring once after dribbles went out.

I thought he did all of his scoring on Dribbles.

Did he really do all of his scoring on Dribbles?

19/37 FT? Are you kidding me? Howard has a highlight on NBA.com now. What a nice air-ball.

Great win by the way. Brooklyn is a much tougher opponent and glad we got a Win.

This was definitely a quality win. Brooklyn should be challenging for the 2nd seed in the East this year. I was impressed with Brook Lopez tonight, he has really developed his offensive game. Too bad he is still awful rebounding.

Our PnR defense still needs some work, but I was very happy with our 4th quarter D. Darius Morris got boned on a few foul calls, but I like his tenacity on defense. He needs to learn to lead a player to one side though and not defend him straight on, granted there are very few guards like DWill in the league.

Great win overall.
brook played like a poor mans Duncan.I was impressed as well.

Metta World Peace 4 for 9 from the three point area. Morris 1 for 2.

Rest of the team: 1 for 10.

All Mike D'Antoni wants from Metta World Peace is 4 of 10 from 3, every night. "He can do that." Most looks are wide open. Get 'em up.

Kobe and Pau are working on pure chemistry the last few games. They were both +20 tonight.

Gotta admit that PnR combo is pretty damn effective. I absolutely loved the play with the Pau lob to Dwight. That is going to make defenses think twice about helping off of him when they run that PnR to the middle of the key.

Howard was laboring for quite a bit in this game. I hope that it has nothing to do with his back and strictly because of all the running.

Tomorrow will be a test of MD'A coaching skills he really's going to have to manage Kobe and Pau's PT. You could see Kobe was tired at the end of the game.

He always has that, why do you think he's such a great defender?

Yea I just saw that on the post game by MDA. I have actually been encouraged by MWP recently. As long as he's set and taking those shots I have no problem. I just really don't like when he tries to create and shoot. If he wants to create attack the basket and go to the rim.

He still holds the ball entirely too much trying to get a pass into the post. If it's there fine, if not move it outside.

Hopefully this gets reduced because what happened to Suns' first year with Nash that MD barely played bench players. I can see why they played more mins 'cause it was a very close game throughout and tonight is MD's first coaching night?

I think this was the first exciting close win of the season. All of our other wins I think were blow outs. Nothing like a close 4th quarter win. Don't get me wrong though I still rather a blow out win every game. And this would have been a blow out if not for the horrible free throw shooting.

I think it was the physical play of nets that added to him with his back as well.lotta over the backs and pushes from evans etc.

We would destroy them if we didn't miss that many FT.

SO STOP MISSING FT, LAKERS!

More to do with the constant barrage of fouls he was getting. Brooklyn has a very deep front court and they used their whole allotment of fouls tonight.

What do you think the Brooklyn players think about hack-a-dwight? I can't imagine they like that strategy.

D'Antoni has a lot of confidence in his new team, saying they expect a W every night. Not interested in excuses (like B2B tomorrow at SAC).

Great entertaining game. Only things were rebounding , free throws, and gasols lack of defense on brooks shooting
