No, it doesn't. Have you heard of teams missing open shots? Lakers were not up to the defensive mark tonight, energy, movement, you name it compared to the last few games.
And offense wasn't normal, even without the scrubs in the 2nd. It's not about Kobe. the offense wasn't in sync tonight.. lot of isos. Lakers lucky that perimeter shots were going. |

can you read? I'm talking about tonight's game. and if I thought last few games were lucky, I wouldn't have talked about good defense in those games. |

GS took the kind of shots tonight that would have LG'ers screaming for PJ's, Farmar's, or Sasha's head on a platter. This is what the Laker defense allowed, and guess what? GS scored 94 points. On 41.7% shooting.
Lakers were far from perfect, but their defense wasn't what kept them from blowing out GS tonight. |
