just a great great great basketball game.

reminded me just how awsome an nba playoff game can be.

been a while since i enjoyed a playoff game this much.

The final minute was like a July 4th fireworks finale. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Both sides dropping big shot after big shot.

Interesting new twist in the NBA; tackles from behind are now legal on in-bounds plays with the clock winding down! Will pads and helmets come next?

They're just "letting them play" that's all.

Got to make that call. When NBA TV is joking about the bad no call, you know someone messed up.

Gasol tips it in - game/series over in OKC
Matthews tips it out - game/series now 3-0 instead of 2-1

The basketball gods are compensating for what obviously seems to be a refs disadvantage for the Lakers.

Thanks as always, DB. The last two and a half minutes of that game were incredible. I still can't believe that terrible no call with 4.4 seconds left.

A more important question would be what happens next. Obviously players have noted that a takedown to the floor is legal, does this mean that the offensive player will be "allowed" to use greater "force" to get free? It will be interesting since many of the commentators are saying that there will never be foul in that circumstances.

Was this a pass that Artest should have been ok to pass or should he have called a timeout?

I was a little mad that we didn't feed our big that much. I think we should've went to Bynum a lot more and I wish he did more. Pau was awesome with his jumpers, but again, he should've been fed more.

I don't think anyone expected Fisher and Artest to shoot the lights out.

We escaped...thankfully.

Hopefully we can close Utah out tonight and give the guys a much needed rest.

Hard to feed the bigs when they are packing the paint while leaving DFish and RonRon wide open for 3pt shots.

If one looks at Drew's movement, he rarely went from strong to weak or weak to strong-side during the offensive sets. He needs to pin down his main defender forcing a double team, along with the Lakers crisply moving the ball will create more openings.
