Don't you mean games 6 and 7? Lakers lost game 5 a few minutes ago. Now, my Celtics friend is all happy.

sucks to watch Magic smiling and enjoying the Boston win.. damn.

His legacy is secured... for a little bit, he almost had to step aside for Kobe.

Oh wait... series is not over yet.

I have a feeling if you asked him after tonight's showing he definitely wouldn't stick with the Lakers winning games 6 and 7 anymore.

Series is over LGers. You need to give it up to Boston. They're the better team. They beat the best in the NBA. They deserve it. They are the champions.

And yes, they will win it on our court.

only on LG do fans give up so quick

Me too. I hate my Boston Celtics friend too. We were supposed to watch the game together, but he didn't want to. Lamer.

So take out Kobe's 3 desperation three pointers (which were of course predictably horrible shots), and he was 13/24 tonight. The rest of the team was 18/48.

Oh well... onto Tuesday.

You mean the three 3s where he was fouled with no call?

Or Paul Pierce reaching in to grab the ball, with no call?

Or you mean Ray Allen fouling him the whole first half without foul calls?

Refs handed this one to the Celts with every call down the stretch. I like when Gasol finally DID score, they waved it off and called a foul away from the ball. Shot clock violation but gave it back to them.

Yeah, the Lakers played like crap for a huge chunk, which is why Kobe took over. Then the refs swallowed their whistles for him at the end.

Anyway Stern wants 7 games.

Game pretty much ended up the way i knew the commish wanted it to. The lakers should have just played there bench and let the startres rest, since the outcome was a sure thing before tip-off

It's clear you didn't watch the basketball game that happened out on the court. Perhaps the wires on your DVR were crossed?

This loss is on Pau.

The two instances that came to mind were when he threw an out of bounds ball to Ray Allen who gets a layup after being non-existent for the entire game. In the next 3 minutes Ray gets 2 more layups. Only reason Doc keeps that dude on the floor is because he can get away with hacking kobe. Second instance was Pau throwing the ball away leading to a back court violation. Both were when the Lakers were close

Yea he got completely shafted by the refs tonight, but he backed off and became a deadweight on the floor instead of playing with heart.
