Wow, that bogut/maggette collision had nothing to do with our players.

Nope, Maggette's gotta be more heads up than that. Can't tackle your center who just had reconstructive surgery on his arm. Seriously, Bogut's arm is probably made out of paper machiete right now.

Good rebound from the past couple of losses. Hopefully they bring the energy for tomorrow.

We owe it to the bench guys. It was the Killer B's that not only closed the gap in the 3rd quarter, but they built that lead.

Starters, you need to take the bench shopping on this road trip at some point.

GOOD win.

Maybe they practiced? Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm glad to see the D finally step up.

Hey, a win. Shannon... is gonna get PAID. But I think we have his full bird rights. But it's up to him. He's about ready to spread his wings & become a star, I think. Backing up Kobe may not be enough for him next year.

He hurt his hip in the first quarter. But I think he is okay, nothing serious.

glad to see phil let shannon and blake finish this game. shannon was red hot, and blake was playing good defense.

people want to know what the difference between getting blown by and funneling your man is? just watch the difference between fisher and blake during the regular season. funneling your man to the big man means staying on him and limiting the offensive player's options and angles in attacking the big man. getting blown by means you're not in the same area code and the offensive player can do anything he wants to create space or contact to get his shot.

Overall a mediocre defensive game for LA, but it hardly matters. This team probably knew they just needed to play a small stretch of good D to create some separation, and forcing 4 TO's towards the end of the 3rd was just enough to bring a tie game up to to 7-10 point margin. That alone may not have won the game, but defensively, it's all the Lakers really needed since the the offense took care of the rest (in no small part to Brown).

Hell...have Shannon be the Starting 2 guard, slide Kobe to SF....Blake can be the starting PG.

Shannon Brown: Most Improved Player, 6th man of the year

i still can't believe how many morons actually thought Sasha Vujacic should play ahead of him.

LUDICROUS!

Yea we are morons for using Shannon's past play to predict how he will play this season. Easy to say that after hes clearly improved and isn't the same player we were evaluating before.

Actually I have been saying it since about two weeks after he joined the team.

It was obvious to anyone who knows anything about basketball that he is and always was LIGHT YEARS ahead of LG hero Sasha Vujacic.

And his play has been excellent overall since joining the team, he went through one bad shooting stretch last season when he was playing through injury with a mangled shooting hand.

But you knew that right? Somehow I doubt it.
