Marv and Mike Fratello had the "key match-up of the game" (halfway through) as Kobe vs. Jordan, heh.

Glad they got the W. But I bet every team in the league feels like they can beat LA, lol.

lets face it, blowing out teams are nice but nothing beats the thrill of the 4th quarter clutch time.

This

We focus on Kobe, but don't refuse to not look at other guys, guys.

Odom's 3

Gasol's rebound and block

Odom scored on Kobe's pass.

Gasol scored on Kobe's bullet pass.

The team did contribute to the win, not only Kobe. However, Kobe shows why he is the MVP of this team again tonight, no doubt in my heart.

(OH YE, AND FARMAR AND HIS TERRIFIC CHUCKING also helped).

Yes Sir.

Kobe started slow but was godly in the 2nd half.

Lamar carried the team through the first quarter and had some great plays thorughout.

Pau had a subpar game but still came alive in spurts in the game and converted on some difficult shots or drew fouls in the 4th.

Good team effort to win the game.

If Bynum isn't back for the Indiana game, then we shouldn't sticky the game thread.

Sorry, didn't mean to overlook Lamar. He was great too but everyone else was pathetic. Kobe had to play the entire 4th quarter, make shots, create shots and essentially do everything to carry us to a win. Not the way you want to beat the Nets. It should have been a blowout. This win does nothing for me.

Repeat after me:

1) Every win will help the Lakers one step closer to get HCA.

2) WE WIN!

3) WE WIN!

Guarantee success. You will feel like you want to get another girlfriend.

We did survive. Nets had the lead halfway through the 4th quarter and we didn't go up by more than 3 until a there was a minute left.

You need to remember that the Lakers were playing the game at 10am on their bodyclocks.

NBA players are used to playing at night. PLaying at 10am West Coast time gives a big advantage for the East Coast team in this type of game.

Have you ever travelled across three time zones and tried to perform at a high level nine hours earlier than you would usually be working ?

It's not easy. Any win under the circumstances is a good win.

^ When I look at the schedule at the beginning of the year, I automatically assume any 1pm Eastern Time game will be a loss.

Any that they win is pure gravy.

Kobe does show the leadership mentality in this game.

Dagger not by shooting but by making magic passes.

That's more than twice. He could have done something to win the OKC game too and one other game in the closing seconds. Dude has been coming up a bit short in this department.
