Yeah my thoughts too. I'd love to see what this team is capable of once the refs get over their ego trip on Drew.

Rsxextreme: another game we won because of our defense. Anybody watching us during our recent stretch of games knows that we've picked up our d.

Yeah and most of our near blown leads was because of our defense.. Have to be consistent..

Need to take advantage of Dallas and their problems on Wednesday. That would be a good way to kick off this difficult part of the schedule on the right note.

Good solid win, Pau woke up late, but he did. LO, Kobe were both great, Bynum was also solid, too bad he again couldn't play because of the fouls.

I'm inclined to agree with this crowd of chanters. They know what's up.

Westbrook will have a huge game, i'm thinking 30-10. Interested to see if artest can still stop KD.
I don't have any expectations for the lakers in this one.

LAkers will show a lot more focus than yesterday and play a complete 48 min game for their first real quality win of the season.

Yes- as long as they stay focused. You could see the difference over the last 36 hours.

OKC has the Lakers attention in a way the Clips don't.

Efficient too. He's had a good streak of games 50% from the field.

Seems so. I think he's just taking a little longer to recover from surgery than in the past. That's what it appears anyway.

I know he was definitely worse off with the knee last time we saw him go up against Thabo. Tonight, he just blew past him.

Very true. I was a bit worried about Pau but I liked his tenacity for turning an absolutely putrid game into a decent one.

Kobe has been spry the last 3 games now, I wonder what has changed.

The extended recovery time for the knee makes sense, as he is getting older, so his body is healing at a slower rate now.

It seems like e has been pacing himself throughout he season, slowly increasing the intensity level/ defensive activity level each week or two.

Props to Pau- a nice game when all was said and done.

Kobe looks more spry IMO because he has hit a point in his rehab/recovery process where he's starting to turn the corner.

More thoughs on Kobe:

Last week vs GSwas vintage Kobe, as was his performance tonight in a whole different way. His balance between scoring and distributing was perfect. He had a huge impact on the game while only taking 12 shots.

Bynum is putting up real good numbers in limited time right now. He really does make a big difference.

Really good game by the lakers overall, even if westbrook scored 32 on us.

All about the win, so his points are fine with me.

Westbrook should be an AS this year, so him going off is no surprise. HE's getting better and better.
