Why don't we trade Pau instead of Bynum?

Because Pau doesn't get hurt every five minutes like Bynum.

Did Bynum actually miss any game other than the one he needed to recover from the surgery? Plus, Pau is 30. If his defense is this bad at this age, how do you think it's going to look after this point?

Actually yes, with his boo boo on his knee a couple weeks back, but thanks for playing.

One game(aside from the ones required to recover from the knee surgery, which could have been avoided if he had the surgery earlier) doesn't qualify as injury-prone. Plus, Pau is 30, there is just as much a chance of him getting injured as Bynum at this point(and he's never been that durable to begin with.)

LOL ... He's not injury prone??? I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

No Laker has played much today, so fatigue shouldn't be a problem tomorrow.

Lakers need to regroup and execute better, need to trust in the triangle.

So what's the excuse for tonight's game? "Just one game."? Lets get all the excuses in for tomorrow's game too cause Lakers are at a two game deficit all-time to Bobcats.

Let's see if I've got it covered:

"It's just one game"

"Doesn't matter because we're the better team"

"This will be a wake up call for the Lakers"

and finally... "We'll flip the switch for the playoffs"

While I didn't sticky it, I could have unstickied the thread.

However, I blame the troll.

Interesting situation.

The OP has been one of our worse trolls in recent weeks.

I deleted the first post, but he still shows up as the thread creator.

Well, I tried. Blame the troll if the Lakers lose.

Since the Lakers pretty much didn't get up for today's game, they better be ready for tomorrow.

Everyone does know that Stern just (bleep) slap the Lakers. To everyone the Lakers lost because they couldn't get to the line, meaning the Refs have help the Lakers in the past and without the Refs Lakers lose.

Well, I've convinced myself that the Lakers threw this game for Orlando's benefit in order to help them keep a competitive mindset against Boston and Miami in the Eastern Conference . . .

yeah, umm, that would be a logical asumption, but anything logical regarding the Lakers is always reversed, so...

man what a bad game

4 rebounds, really Pau? I wish Denver would like an aging Euro as their centerpiece, then maybe we can get a deal going.

My son & I'll be in Charlotte tomorrow. Let's hope we bring it against the Bobcats.

Pretty much. Orlando's not even a top 3 team in the East.

Jon Barry is right, he should rip them some more. There was more passion for today's game by the fans in the game thread then the Lakers themselves.

I worry when it becomes clear that we have no one who can make an outside shot, no one who can create off the dirbble except Kobe.

Magic are a terrible team. Their defense is Dwight... thats it. And yet, they were able to collaps on KObe and wall off the paint, because no one else could do jack.

Lamar, Kobe and Bynum played well.

The rest of the team failed to show up = loss.

Didn't Orlando sweep the regular season match-ups against LA last year? Lakers suck on ABC unless it's the postseason.
