A trip to Rose Garden is usually a blowout loss even when Portland only suits up 5 players.

Lakers went to Portland and blew them out by 17 points February 6, 2010.

http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=300206022

That was a nice try though.

Kobe didn't even play that game lol.

I'll be at the game, I am REALLY hoping for a Lakers win. The crowd is always all over me at these games, and on the way to the game on the train and at the bars, etc..I get booed just when I enter a place wearing my Lakers stuff. It's intense.

I know the Lakers often struggle in Portland, but I think the starters got plenty of rest tonight in the blowout so fatigue shouldn't be an issue. The Blazers have won 6 straight, but when the Lakers play with focus and energy like they did tonight, they can certainly beat anybody especially these Trail Blazers who they destroyed in LA earlier this year when they were playing hard...So I expect and hope for more of the same here..

Go Lakers!!! Please get the W. I'll be wearing my Kobe jersey and my Lakers 2010 championship hat...By the way, supposed to be terrible weather tomorrow night in Portland, might be a huge snow storm, and could be very cold too..They even mentioned it could be the worst storm in 20 years here. I doubt that will have any affect on the game though.

Neither did Roy, Oden, Pryzbylla, or Outlaw. 3 of those guys usually kill us in Portland.

That must be an insult. Oden killing the Lakers while wearing a suit?

well.. definitely no oden.. outlaw plays elsewhere..Roy could be back.. but he's not the man he used to be.. sadly.. and Joel has like a 2 in vertical..

the person we have to watch is Matthews.. as long as we keep him under control we should be fine.. Lamarcus and Pau are like the same player.. they shrink back when matched up against a stronger guy.. so that'll be interesting..

Game Day!

It's always tough to play at Portland. The bad news is this is a 2nd of a back to back. The good news is we only have 2 more back to backs left to play this season.
