Key game for seedings. We take the season series + put distance between us and OKC with a win.

Just win. Very big road game. How we start and manage the game is key. I want to see Kobe vs Westbrook.

Yes- almost counts as double in that sense for seedings as LA would have the tiebreaker.

The Lakers seem to lose a lot during Sunday afternoon games. Hope they buck the trend!

National broadcast game against a potential playoff opponent. Great opportunity to shut all the doubters up. Let's take advantage.

If the Lakers are going to let officiating become an excuse, then they deserve to lose.

The only thing worse than excuses is pre-built excuses.

It was on sale at the swap meet, couldn't pass it up.

Also, i never said the officiating will be a cause for a possible loss, I just simply said that it would suck, nothing more. C'mon, you cant tell me that the refs at times are horrible.

Lakers have won 3 in a row, good game to gauge, see if the real Lakers have finally shown up.

Never pass up a sale, unless you are at a swap meet.

Yup, officiating will suck.

Durant and Westbrook will got to the line a combined 20-25 times.

But that's nothing new.

LA should still win.

Pound it inside vs Nick Colison and Nazr. SLow the game to a halfcourt crawl.

Don't turn the ball over.

Well, since Green and Kristic are no longer there and Perkins will be out, the OKC offense may be limited. If Ron isn't handcuffed by fouls and occupies Durant, the other guys can leave Ibaka/Colison/Nazr alone for the most part and cut off Westbrook. We'll see.

My point is that with Perk out, pound it inside to score easy buckets, slow down the game and wear them down with strength. They can't get out in transition if they're taking the ball out of the basket the whole game.

But I hear what you're saying, which is related to what I'm saying, and which I agree with-

if you force the Thunder into a halfcourt game, their offense is now more limited w/o Green and Krystic, and although Nazr will help them some, OKC won't be able to score enough to win, even with the appalling number of FTS that you know is coming.

OKC got pounded by the magic the other day, they will come out angry.
Not to mention this game is on ABC, I think the last time LA won on ABC was game 7 of the finals..
If the lakers win this one I will be impressed.

Sounds about right, although I'll take that one win over three ABC losses this year any day.

Pre-ASG Lakers would lose this game. Let's see what post-ASG Lakers can do.

Officiating can easily determine the victor in a close matchup.
