Can I get a recap? I'm watching on KCAL

things like:

"this team is built for a championship"
"it's going to be boston-la again in the finals"
on Kobe:
"there's not a shot that isn't in this guy's arsenal"

But they are also talking about there own team well also...

I said earlyer that they are great.

My favorite was "I find it funny how many people are sleeping on the Lakers, all the talk about the Heat, celtics,Spurs makes me wonder if they forgot that this team are the back to back champions"

and he broke down the win loss records for past 3 seasons "who wouldn't get bored with the regular season"

also broke down stats from last year and this showing that all stats are better this year than last

great to see effort on the defensive end. Guys were flying around, getting hands in shooters faces and rebounding with authority. This is typically the type of game where fans complain about us not being able to score but when you play consistent D, you don't have to score 100+ every night. It finally seems like the proverbial switch has been hit

The Wolves announcers are simply employing what us natives call Minnesota Nice.

They're actually always complimenting the other team and not just because the Wolves stink. They're probably too bland for a lot of people and Hannemann, the play by play guy, is a homer, in the nice sense of the word. ie., the Wolves could be losing by 30 but if they go on a 5-0 run, he's very excited and this bodes well for the future, etc.

That's cool. So many other announcers are such douches.

They talked about Wes a lot.

Without forgetting to mention that Kobe is his mentor

Dude fff that. THey were some of the most knowledgable announcers I have had the privileged to listen to in a long time. Its not that they were knob polishing, they actually knew what they were talking about. And they were more then fair. "Lakers/Kobe cant hit the ocean but champions know how to get it done"

Well, a win is a win. Considering how completely awful the team shot the ball in the 1st half, they were only down by 5 at halftime.

To come back somewhat strong in the 2nd half to get the win was really good to see.

Looks like they're finally starting to control pace, which is also a good sign.

Ugly win, but as long as it's a W and they keep up the effort and momentum, that's fine by me.

They are continuing to build, slowly but surely.

It astounds me how they don't take advantage of their mismatches enough, but hopefully they will clue into that as these next 20 games go by.

Lakers taking care of business. Next 6 or so games will be pretty tough, and it's good the Lakers will get their complete rotation back with Barnes return. Here's hoping they can keep this going.

Joel and Stu are great as well... They are a little more exciting then the Minny announcers, but I honestly think that the minny announcers know more about Basketball... Like every minute detail.

I enjoyed listening to them, and it was interesting seeing them throw graphics up of offensive and defensive efficiency plus avg scoring margin under the heading of something like "No Reason to Worry", giving a good argument that this team is a as good as it was last year.

The downside - a link so laggy and filled with ads I had to go to the box score half the time just to find out what was happening.

A step in the right direction from earlier in the season against that level of competition.

Yeah...I'm really curious now. Hm, I'll download the game once it's up on davka and see if it's the Minny feed.
