I'm sure it was prosthetic. Just be glad they didn't cast her to look like she does in the books. |

Haven't seen a horse get that type of treatment since the Godfather. |

Really well executed (sorry for the pun) VFX shot . Very convincing. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

I have to say, seeing the show first and seeing the characters (who are absurdly good actors and perfectly cast) makes for a wonderful read. I have their faces in my mind with every word. Golden.
On a side note, Sean Bean, AKA Bormir AKA Eddard (Ned) Stark should have a lifetime provision to star as EVERY early 40s year old fantasy/medieval honorable hero. Doesn't matter the movie. Just rename the character and have him in it and call it a day. |
There are many highlights that make this show worth watching, but Sean Bean and Peter Dinklage are the greatest assets to the show. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Loved seeing Viserys get his crown
And once again, Tyrion steals the episode. |

Peter Dinklage better get a damned Emmy. |

That was an intense ending. Sansa really bugs me, someone should have given her a smack on her head a few times and Robb was a huge dick to Theon.
Edit: Apparently you can watch next week's episode early on HBO Go. Only for the States though.

[SMACK]
I'll wear that as a badge of honor.
If you don't shut your mouth, I'll honor you again.
Can't wait til the king finds out the truth about his "son".
About time the Dothraki showed why everyone should be afraid of them. Up til now, all they've done is pose and make their women do degrading things. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Not for Comcast either. Hopefully someone will be able to put it up online. |

Tirion vs Willow?
Who would you guys take?
Tirion's teeth vs Willow's arms.
I don't know who would win but it would be freaking epic.
My gut though says that Tirion supplants Willow as the new midget king. |

Wow, this show is really making me want to read the books.
Debating whether to sign up for next week's episode already. _________________ "Kobe Bryant is the best player in the world and is basically unstoppable when his game is on" - Barack Obama

I just saw episode 7 and WOW. Did not see that ending coming. WHAT THE HELL. I'm pissed I now have to wait 13 days for episode 9 unless it will be released early too. I don't want to ruin it for anyone. |

Today's news about transfer of power within the Lakers made me think of this show. Is Jim Buss Joffrey?? _________________ "Kobe Bryant is the best player in the world and is basically unstoppable when his game is on" - Barack Obama

Besides the 2 hot chicks in that brothel scene, the dialogue was great. This episode was Little Finger's episode (stole the show - that jerk) lol
I also thought the exchange between Greyjoy and the brigand woman was also a good scene.
Damn things are not looking good for the Starks. (having not read the books)
Can anyone explain to me further detail the different divisions of the nightwatch - ranger, steward, and builder? significance? _________________ "Kobe Bryant is the best player in the world and is basically unstoppable when his game is on" - Barack Obama

They each just have their separate duties. The rangers are the fighting branch that go out on patrol etc. Builders maintain the Castle Black and the other towers.
Jon got stuck as a steward to Lord Commander Mormont. He obviously wanted to be out in the field. Sam opened his eyes to the fact that Mormont probably hand selected him to groom him for a leadership role. |
