are you aware with how well the lakers have fared on the second night of back to backs this season?

Blow 'em out early so the starters can rest through the 4th and get ready for GSW.

I live up in Nor Cal now. People out here have immense hate for the P&G. Warriors wont want to let their fans down, give them something to be excited about. It will be tougher if we let Utah hang around tuesday night.

Yes our record for back to back games are pretty outstanding................................................ but the last few games we started off sluggish. IF we let the Warriors run were going to be down 15-20 quick... And everytime they play in Oracle its always a track meet and 2 minutes of solid defense. I expect Fishy and Barney to get a good reception in Oakland

Everytime the Lakeshow comes around half the Arena is filled with Gold and Forum Blue.. Warrior fans are bandwagon fans ..Same can be said for the Celtics when they came earlier this year.. Even the Magic Warrior fans were faithful in 07 when they went to the playoffs since then They do find ways to fill up 17k people nightly though

Crush them. Stop letting teams hang around at home. Phoenix and Minny games could have easily ended up with a L, just like Denver did.

Don't give Shannon "Blackhole" Brown the ball unless he's coming off a cut to the basket or it's a breakaway play.

as we head for the home stretch of this regular season, here are some numbers that give an indication of just how dominate this present lakers team is (i know this fact will wrinkle at least one laker fan).

the lakers currently have 26 road wins, with three more to play.

the laker record for most road wins all time is 31. the '72 lakers and '00 lakers both hit the mark. note, though, that neither team was coming off a title year - the '00 lakers were swept in 2nd round, and the '72 team won 48 games the previous year and were eliminated in the 2nd round as well, but they only played 3 rounds total back then, so it would be the equivalent of WCF.

3 teams that have tried to make a 3rd run at a title, in the last 21 years, have had the following road records in their 3-peat seasons; and many basketball analyst consider them some the greatest teams off all-time.

'93 bulls won 26 road games

'98 bulls won 25 road games

'02 lakers won 24 road games

so, what does this all mean? it means that we have won of the best teams that has ever stepped on the hardwood - maybe there have been former teams that have had more hall-famer's on them - but this particular group, has performed, as good, if not better, than those teams.

it's easy to get lost in the day to day of emotions of a long season, but i can tell you as some one who is closer to the end of their fandom then the beginning, it's important to soak it in before the well runs dry.
