obviously, Phil is satisfied with their current position right now. he wasn't coaching at all in this game... and even his best coaching act, which is to put Kobe earlier than usual, was not utilized.

so, my guess is Phil could care less about the last few games. he is trying to test the bench, I guess trying to make them "better"

having said that,

Forget the Spurs, they lose at Portland, lose to OKC and Sac, Dallas win their remaining games we lose HC second round.

I refuse to consider that.

PAU GASOL AND PHIL JACKSON deserve all the blame for this loss period.

It's true.

Even early in the game when the Lakers were rolling, Pau's man (Lee) was going wild as Pau wouldn't even attempt to box him out.

Might as well just play Smith or Ratliff until Pau locates his balls.

True, his defense has been SOFT all season but I didn't expect him to get punked so badly. The worst part is that if he's having a bad game, he just checks out mentally and stops trying. That is why Phil benched him...but he should have done it sooner and we might have had a shot.

They don't care, so we shouldn't either.

I would rather watch Jackie Johnson than John Ireland myself.

The bench after LO and maybe Barnes is completely useless. Blake can't hit a shot anymore and Brown has gone full (bleep).

They'll probably put together a decent effort if Dallas gets close to within a game of them, otherwise expect more of the sleepwalking till the playoffs start.

I can stand with blake and brown but gasol, odom and fisher tonight is too stupid to be in this team!!!!

gasol <<< hopeless on defend but also unreliable on offend = ='

odom <<< instead of driving to the rim as he usually did and getting 3 pt play or at least 2, he pushes all his luck on mid range and 3 pt to get nothing but cursing from us :[

fisher<<< it's already too shameful to mention this name LOL

This is why the triangle is so overrated. When they run the triangle, the ball always seems to end up in Fisher and Brown's hands, which is no coincidence, as teams are baiting them to shoot.

Phil needs to simplify the offense for the 2nd unit and just run P&R either with Odom and Blake all day.

Pau wanted to crawl back into the womb the way he was iced on the bench.. He deserved it though Cant even dominate against a team with no center..Lame

It seems Jackie moved to the KCBS portion of the news, Everlyn Taft is filling in quite nicely.

The funny part is in all 3 games the Lakers got off to a fast start and then proceeded to (bleep) the bed.

Doesn't matter what lead they have if they don't show up to the game as a team.

our guys doing the things they shouldn't be doing and would not do during games that really matter or under dire circumstances should tell us something.... just my 2 cents. i think they're saving their energy for the playoffs. i'm doing my best to stay calm... breathe in..... breathe out.......

wonder if 'drew is getting frustrated by the fact that he's the only player who bothers to show up right now. kobe tried to make an appearance at the end and barnes did his best as well, but even both of their first three quarters were awful.

pau and the rest just sucked major ass. major ass. didn't even move much on either end.

fisher single handedly killed us in the third quarter with dumb shot after dumb shot that lead to transition play after transition play for the warriors and gave them their double digit lead. he gets my vote for worst player on the floor, dominating the strong competition from the rest of the team.

lakers have clearly shut it down heading into the 'offs. evidently 'drew didn't get the memo.

This game was decided once our bench came in. You could tell they did not want to play. I'm hoping this losing streak is because the Lakers are getting bored of the regular season, and not something else.
