Another take away: Ron has really regressed. Ebanks may be a better option

If he can keep this up, Ebanks will be a rotation player. Ron making the case for the amnesty right now, but we'll see. He's in a new role and he's out of shape.

I have no idea what Lansburger is, but it sounds like it means hot garbage.

Am Iright?

Some positives and some negatives. The positives, Kobe looked great, he should have a good year. Blake wasn't bad, neither was Bynum. Eubanks and McRoberts played well. Despite losing LO, the Lakers still won the rebounding battle. Gasol started out strong but faded. Morris ate up some big minutes, but his decision-making skills are far from NBA quality. Kapono did what we need him to do.

The negatives, Artest was awful. As in the past, we got killed by 3-point shooting, so the perimeter defense needs work. Murphy looked like a guy who had practiced with his teammates once or twice. It will be interesting to see what changes by Wednesday.

Perimeter rotations were just way late all night. Guys still are thinking where to go instead of knowing. It will come.

Kobe - Looks great. Glad to see him back.

Pau - Needs to stay on the floor. Otherwise he looks okay.

Bynum - If he can put up double-doubles even on his worst nights (15ppg, 12rpg, 2 blk), then we should be okay.

Blake - If he can play like he did in the 2nd half, he could be our starter.

McBob - He's a nice energy guy to bring off the bench.

Murphy - He didn't get enough minutes to judge, but this guy is a double-double guy when he's healthy. I have high hopes.

Morris - He can make shots. Can he create shots?

Ebanks - He looks like he worked on his offense this season. Nice to see.

Kapono - He can make shots. Doesn't look like he can do much else.

Barnes - Didn't do much tonight. But we know what he can do when he's healthy.

Walton - He should retire.

Artest - Made some nice defensive plays early, but didn't do much else.

Derek Lamar Fisher doesn't approve of this kind of schadenfreude performance.

In fact, he won't stand for it.

Fear not dear Lakers' fans, for Derek Lamar Fisher is on the way.

Came out very impress with McRoberts. If he continues to play like this his salary is a bargain. Shows how much smarter than FO is compared to the average fan when they got pissed of we got McRoberts instead of turaif.

Brown said he'd like Kobe to move the ball around more at times on offense & contest more on D, but that he looks good physically.

Good luck with that.

I don't see any positives from tonite other than Kobe looks a bit more agile - Luke & Artest were playing with a fork in their back --- their done!

I liked what I saw from Ebanks, Morris, McRoberts, and Kapono. These players will actually get minutes under MB.

You could tell they were just a step slow. It was easy to read it on some of their faces that they were thinking more than reacting.

Much the same on O. So many lineups, and guys stumbling over each other, but i see some bright spots. McRoberts is going to make you acouint for him, and he makes the play or moves the ball smartly. Kapono can just shoot it. So can Murphy, and Ebanks' shot is much improved. I see Pau and Kobe being able to switch up a bit, with Pau out on the wing and Kobe playing Hi-lo with Bynum.

He's a brilliant GM and if, after what Stern did, we can even make it to the second round of the playoffs - that's phenomenal.

You should pack your bags for such stupidity.

Just at anyone taking anything from a preseason game.

Clips=Nba champions, wrap it up. No need to play the season.

Bunch of premature evaluators on this forum, it's pathetic.

I didn't get to see the entire game, but did Fox Sports happen to catch Mitch, Jim, or Dr. Buss during the game? I would of loved to see their facial expressions.

Mike Trudell: Kobe summary: wrist is fine from fall. Knee feels good. Generally feels quicker/stronger, thus 15 free throw attempts.

CP3 and Billups on the backcourt with Mo Williams off bench is just not fair, especially for the Lakers lol
