Bynum needs to prove he can be STRONG inside. The outta breath excuses have little to do with what he did in the 1st qtr. If, he continues to look like a rookie it's time to make the move. Jordan made him look sorry it should have been the other way around.

Relax, when Bynum gets his game legs back you'll be thrilled to have him. That said, if I was managing Bynum I'd make him play games in the summer to keep his wind and timing up. It's apparently hard for bigs to find pickup games i guess, I don't know. I'd send him to Europe if I had to. What he needs more than anything is experience in games. He's got all the tools to be a superstar, just needs the experience.

Dave McMenamin: Derek Fisher and Devin Ebanks will start tonight vs. the Clippers, coach Mike Brown said at shootaround

Quote:
Mike Trudell: Brown was considering starting Ebanks (foot MRI negative) at the 3 tonight, but w/Kobe out we could see Ebanks at 2, Barnes at SF.

Nicely done. Also, with Kobe sidelined, now we can get back to winning games.

lets try to keep it close this time ya?

If preseason was good for anything, it would probably just be to see who can play with each other and trying out new things, imo.

Los Angeles Lakers: Jason Kapono will start at the 2 in place of Kobe Bryant tonight against @LAClippers.

yay we get to watch morris dribble around for 20 seconds.

Give the kid a break. 11 days of practice with new teammates and that was his first nba game. I thought he was the bright light of the game for the Lakers.

I wish Morris the best but from what I saw he's not controlling the game, the game was controlling him. Let's hope he can turn that around.

I agree. He is quicker than I imagined, with a better stroke, but he did not seem in control of his handle nor really able to direct the players around him. Green green green. Better than an average second rounder, however.

Lakers should have a better outing than last time. If they lose it won't be a blowout.

What a difference a day makes. Instead of blake guarding cp3 we can look forward to the return of Number Two.

I would have liked to see that line up with D. Morris as a starter seeing as this is a preseason game.

I would hope Ebanks becomes the go-to guy. However, my feelings tell me Fisher will try to "takeover" and by takeover, I mean shoot 0-10.

Yeah, I expect a lot of transition threes from him.

I'm really excited to see Goudelock, Kapono, McRoberts and Morris tonight. And to a degree, D-Fish. Let's see how they all mesh today and get ready for the Bulls on Xmas!
