Kobe needs a huge fourth quarter. Push it to 40pts again.

The last thing the Lakers need is another Kobe-only quarter. Between all the coaches in the league we have hired the only one who is capable of forgetting ALL our assets in order to have ONE player happy.

Incorrect analysis, bro. The Lakers HAVE tried to others. They keep blowing it. Wide open shots by Pau, et al. are all resulting in massive fail. Kobe is literally the ONLY reason we're still in the game at all. We don't need a new coach or system--we need a new supporting cast that help carry the weight.

The Lakers have become a one man show. The rest of the teams in the league are laughing their asses off at a coach that has three of the most talented players in the NBA and uses only one. There is no way we get aywhere when one guy shoots 30 shots every (bleep) game. I don´t give a (bleep) if he´s 50,30 or 70 FG%.

Uhm....have you seen how big Bynum and Pau are?

How come they didn't have a LOT more rebounds? That was the main problem with the team tonight.

No offense, but they had 26 rebounds. That's a ton. They had 32% of the minutes and 62% of the rebounds. Bynum had as many rebounds as the rest of the team other than Pau COMBINED.

This is why Kobe ball won't work in the long haul, we played this same way the last 4 or 5 games and won just because the opponent was weaker. We have to play as a team to be real contenders and i'm not dissing Kobe, it's just a fact. We have to run plays, not just feed the post and stand around. There has to be movement after you feed the post, set screens, run pick and rolls. Didn't we sign Ettore Messina or whatever his name is, isn't he supposed to be the Phil Jackson of europe? Someone teach these guys how to play some offense as a team

They lost this game on defense not offense. primarily lack of rebounding.

Relax people. We've played 5 more games than they have, and this was the second night of a back-to-back. We lost the game because of fatigue and some unlucky bounces. It's all good.

our offense actually looked putrid... everything's fine when teams don't double Kobe/Drew/Pau... but when they do, things gets really screwed up.

They scored 92pts, that's plenty to win if you play D. Good defensive teams keep other teams to under 90.

I know Messina´s work and I swear the Lakers are EVERYTHING he does not like. This team is the OPPOSITE of Messina´s idea of a team.
That´s not necessarily bad, but why did we hire this guym then?

This is actually pretty funny. We're coming off a five game winning streak, we've had an uneven roster due to numerous injuries and a suspension, we're implementing a brand new defense and offense, we've played an insane number of games with very few days of rest, we're coming on a second night of a back to back against a younger, more athletic Clipper team who have had a ton of rest going into the game, and people are wanting to give up on and blow up this team because we lost a game.

WOW.

"What's the point in having Bynum and Gasol if they're not going to use them?"

It's all good when the Lakers win against lowly teams and Kobe chucks up 30 shots. But see what happens against better teams? Pau and Bynum barely touch the ball in the 2nd half. When they finally do, you can't blame them if they miss because they're not involved in the offense. They both seem mentally checked out of the game because they know Kobe is just gonna catch and shoot. Kobe went up for a jumpshot in the 4th and saw Pau down low and decided to throw it to him but Pau wasn't expecting a pass and it just hit him in his chest. It's like we just have 2 big guys in there just to be spectators.

Maybe they should have touched the ball in the first half by rebounding it. They were the reason we were behind.

They both did well in the 1st half. Pau was hitting his shots and Bynum was getting looks. Then came the 2nd half all Kobe show. That's when Pau and Bynum checked out of the game. Can you blame them? They're just watching Kobe catch and shoot.

The "Kobe show" that you mentioned brought them back in the game. Yes, they were down 13 at the half playing "team ball".

This.

Clippers played least games all season. Lakers most.

We're on back to back...they've had two days off.

Our team is being put through a trail by fire right now. We'll see these punks towards end of the season.

The Lakers are not going ANYWHERE playing Kobe ball. Sorry, as the leader of this team it's his job to get everyone on the same page and involved in the game. I think it's pathetic to praise him for all these 40 point games wins but then turn around and blame Pau, Bynum, and the rest when they lose. You can't have it both ways.

If he's the one who wins it playing Kobe ball then he's the one losing it playing Kobe ball.

Same thing I thought.

It pisses me off that a lot of (bleep) dumbsh*ts are suddenly acting like the Clippers are AS GOOD a franchise as the Lakers now.

(bleep) NO. I can't wait for Lawler and Smith to start sounding disappointed again, like they have the last couple decades. Douchebag team.

Easier said than done. All you said is but cliche. There are many factors why we lost this game. Our bigs did not show up on offensive ends. That was just one. Zebras, 2. Rebounding, 3. Without Kobe.... BLOWN WAY WAY UP.
