Bench play was weak. That's what happens when your best bench player is a rookie.

I'd like to start Glock, but when he starts, bench has nothing

I don't either, very tough to win there. Valiant effort to win the first game in DEN against all of the refs and this one I didn't get to fully watch until Mike Brown got tossed... 1-1 is better than expected. Very possible to go 4-2 on the trip so it's not that bad.

The only idiots that cares about FG% are morons like Hollinger...and he's a Kobe Hater.

I agree Kobe plays to win he coulda started protecting his fg% years ago but chooses not to who cares fire away to win games.

another thing this is back2back..at places where the calls ALWAYS go their way. Just be happy it wasn't denver/utah/balzers games ..that would be terrible. Also..why are we going against these teams again on their home court? do we get the same thing?

SF position is an issue too.

MWP and Barnes didn't do squad.

Yeah, we totally shouldn't give Arenas a shot. Our bench guards are SO GOOD. Rofl.

Agreed, pretty obvious foul. Between last nights jobbing in Denver and tonight, im not surprised MB got tossed. LMAO at all the people calling for him to be fined or suspended for it when everyone on LG used to criticize PJ for NOT showing the same kind of emotion. Bipolar board here. Watson just straight up tackled Gasol on that "steal". The NBA barely even resembles the sport of basketball anymore.

Mike Brown is NOT Purple and Gold worthy. He has a big job coming up...it's called ATONEMENT. He better own it too.

What a joke.

I liked seeing the different odd combos out there. Who cares if the Lakers lose some games. Maybe the odd rotations are getting ready for the playoffs? Maybe the coach actually has a real strategy. They just need to get into the playoffs, nothing more to win.

Mike Brown is getting a hazing and there's more to come. I know for sure, 100% for sure, when he was with Cleveland, Lebron pulled fouls to his side all day. With the Lakers, he'll learn what it is sometimes to be on the opposite side.
He'll get used to it and he'll make it through.

They need a starting quality PG otherwise we'll be seeing another early exit

it was clear when the 2 half started that the team was fatigued. But the bench had the most rest and they played the worst.

I thought the wheels really came off when the coach gave up on his lineups. The one thing that frustrated fans about Phil was his genius. Once he picked his rotations he stuck to them religiously. The team would have to go on a 3 game losing streak to force a change in the lineup. Murphy could have heated up but now that he got yanked we'll never know.

If it wasn't for that 13-1 run or whatever it was early in the 4th, the game was pretty much even last night. Tough loss, looked like the Lakers had a good shot at it for a while there. Winning both games in Utah is real tough, at least we got 1.

There is no excuse for Mike Brown going off like he did tonight. That was just stupid and pedestrian. Just when the team needed STABILITY and to settle down, we have potato head going off and getting the crowd into the game. The game changed for good with his stupid tirade.

I am seriously pissed Fisher is getting so much PT. Goudelock didn't play as well as he has been but with the starters he'd at least shoot and make his wide open looks.

I'm not sure if it's an act or if he seriously has anger management issues. I can understand one technical, but the guy just lost his cool. Should have been a foul on Watson, but those double Ts blew the game wide open.

And what was so bad about Kuester? But as soon as Brown was ejected, I laughed at how we went from Phil Jackson to John Kuester.
