I have no idea just how bad the Knicks are to let the Lakers stay so close most of the game. The Lakers looked terrible, and almost like Kobe vs. 9.

beside kobe and somewhat gasol/barnes, no one showed up. lakers could win this one if Mr. Potato Head made up his mind or even had a clue on how to contain (not stop) Lin. saw this game in entirety. Lin was contain with blake and barnes guarding him. too bad, it was too late at that point.

Only Kobe, Pau, and Barnes played well today (Pau was hampered with fouls, two of them complete BS). Even Kobe had a terrible first half. Just ugly all around from everyone else.

Barnes - he might have fouled out but at least he showed up tonight. Gasol too. Kobe - I don't like 11-29 but he did keep us close.

Adelman was definitely a good venerable candidate to replace Phil, and he reportly really wanted the job. Now look at how much Minnesota has improved under him?

You just can't beat experience. Enthusiam can't nurture young players and convince veterans.

I suspect JR knows nothing of waking up, principals, or Victoria...

look at how much more effective Barnes was under Phil last year? spot minutes with focus on slashing, now he's running around like a snake without the head, committing dumb fouls.

Bynum and Pau probably has to be seperate, one starts one comes from the bench.

Only a pg change isn't enough to solve our offensive woe. Get rid of MWP, Fisher, Murphy, Kapono, Luke. We need speed, atheletism.

even CP3 under Mike Brown's system won't necessary make us successful. there's a reason that phil brought championships to Kobe and Shaq when Del Harris couldn't.

well, barnes can only foul 6x or he's out. where as fisher shoots the entire lakers team out of it.

Who's responsible for opponents scouting? Looked like we weren't well prepared for too many games.

If tonights game wasn't exhibit A on why the front office needs to make moves then I don't know how terrible this team has to be in order for them to consider changing the lineup....

He looked clueless, but I'd still take a hustle guy than no hustle, self-feeling-good MWP.

agree, fisher's role in the rotation really needs to get reduced. starting blake is a wiser decision.

My response to Bynum's comment on Lin: Why don't you have the ability to add to your own hype?

Kobe is great because he has the ability to adjust mid-game, and go from cold to hot in a snap; Bynum, on the other hand, goes from bad to horrible just like the stock market 2 years ago, with no regards!!!

Bynum was terrible, at least Kobe brought the Lakers back with a respectable points total....

Yep, that's why I feel bad for Kobe, having to suffer through this in the twilight of his career. Jim Buss' stubborness in holding onto Bynum is causing Kobe another possible ring.

Keep in mind, in case people only look at the box scores: Kobe was 1-10 in the first half, 10-19 in the second half. He had a bad first half - and a terrific 2nd half. Unlike everyone else that had a bad game from start to finish.
