I'm specifically watching Kobe and Barnes play on D for this game. Just hoping we don't put key guys into foul trouble early. That seems to be a recurring problem when we play against LeChoke or DWeasle.

call me pessimist but aren't the following always happen when lakers face LeBron's team in a big regular season showdown?

Kobe trying to carry team by himself, shooting a ton contested low percentage jumpshots, not getting any calls. Wade and LeBron will shoot at 10 FTs apiece. some scrub three point shooter will get hot all of sudden (Battier, Miller) and score 20 + points off the bench.

The Masked Man must regard this game as a "must win" one without much personal stuffs attached.

This game can be a true test of whether we are truly a contender.

It was the right move according to the apologists.
But to be frank, I haven't watched the clip of the last shot.

I'd love to hear the Staples crowd sound like Luke Walton's having a career night.

DWades defense has been giving Kobe some trouble, seems to be to quick for Kobe to get a good shot off. Kobe better beast on his ass this time around, Bynum and Pau too. Someone better get Wade back for the hit, i wanna see blood. Bench has to step up, this is the game we show the world we're still here. Lets (bleep) go

Very big game for Bynum. These are the moments he needs to take command of to legitimize his rep.

LA needs contributions from the usual suspects and another two players (of Fisher, Artest, Goudelock or Blake)

Stu was right in that you don't want to face a good team after a bad loss. But I think these Lakers pull it together. Others might disagree but I hope Ron takes a hard foul on Wade. The message needs to be sent that this team will not be effed with.

He'd been blowing by the Jazz and making impossible shots against them all night. But, on the last play of the game he took one dribble then immediately made a bounce pass to Haslem, who took a semi-contested shot. Lebron could have easily pulled up for a semi-contested shot of his own or taken a couple more dribbles and blown by his man.

pretty much ...... he did put Haslem in a position to take a shot we've seen UD knock down time and time again ..... but the way he way shooting, especially with 17 in the fourth, he probably should have taken the shot. No one would have faulted him if he missed. Without him, Heat don't get back in that game .......

Of course you expect the homers to say its the right move.. it wasn't.. when he was making those 3s before the last shot he was guarded more closely then for that last play. LeBron will always shy away from the big stage..

2 quick fouls on MWP. LeBron near triple double. Kobe mauled and no calls. Either Chalmers/Miller/Battier will light it up. If Bosh plays, 70% shooting and 20+ points for him. Heat double digit win.

If the Lakers play defense like they did last night against the Kings they will get blown out.
