While I get Sesh can't play 48 min, 30 is just too little. Dude is what, 25? If Gasol and Kobe can get 38-39 minutes, no reason he can't either. It's not that the Lakers have a glut of talent at the PG spot that Brown needs to divide the minutes so prudently.

Let's not start being delusional. Okc is the better team. Kobe is near his end. He can't dominate for ever. Its OKC's time right now accept it and move on.

Stern is laughing at you. His boys are playing Miami in the finals. Book it.

There is no way these prairie dogs are beating us in the playoffs. Not in a 7 game series. We're taking them out, just like we did to the Sacramento Kings in 2002. It's going to be that kind of series. That kind of rivalry.

It's getting to the point where whoever wins the West wins the championship again. I want OKC spitting blood!

Your enthusiasm is bordering on deleusional.

We can beat this team. We saw the formula in the 1st and a little in the 4th quarter....it all comes down to OWNING the boards. These chump snots grabbed so many offensive rebounds that lead to at least 16 points. Eliminate 10 of their 19 offensive rebounds and we win this game!

There is nothing delusional about it.

Formula is no crappy calls from refs, no blake, no murphy, and no holding the ball until were doubled.

That formula?

So...hope you can run starters all game and hope we don't get called for bs fouls

We have no Shaq. No Horry like clutchness off the bench.

We have Drew and Pau...just as deadly in the inside and capable of grabbing more boards. If we can own the glass with these frauds, we'll send them to a chop shop.

summary on why we lost the game

1) blake on fish during the 2nd quarter. i was amazed to see fish drive pass his defender and went for a layup -- i mean, it's just embarrassing when you can't guard a 37 year guy

2) giving up wayyyyy too much offensive rebounds. not because we are old or we don't hustle -- but instead our lack of team rebounding. it's not a coincident anymore, since this issue has been there all season long. during Phil's era, we used to always be one of the top rebounding teams in the league; and were extremely good at protecting the board...

3) bench gasol for more than 8 mins in the 3rd, while relying on murphy to accomplish nothing. i don't care if gasol has 4 fouls, he's still better than murphy; and those 8 minutes completely took gasol's focus out of the game; he was back to his sissy-self in the 4th. just bad bad coaching.

4) rely too much on 1on1. do we even have a rotation? other than barnes, no one else would slash or cut; our offense reminded me of the rockets in the mid-90s -- but that team was armed with top level 3pt shooter, we have world peace, murphy, blake....

5) that clueless look on MB's face. dude -- when was the last time you appeared intelligent or confident?

I see them in the Finals this year and losing to Miami.

Only team in the West that might beat them is the Spurs, the Lakers aren't going to do it I don't think.

Lanny, it's going to be 2002 all over again. Game on. We have a new conference rival. We're going to turn the Thunder into the BLUNDERS during the playoffs.

Kobe was 23 then

And they have much and much improved Kevin and Durant. Not to mention Russel and Westbrook. Yes, it's not a typo. Durant and Westbrook look like 4 players. The key to beat them is SLOW THEM DOWN in DISCIPLINED HALF COURT GAME.

They were jumping for boards in the first quarter. They were getting point blank layups. They were securing defensive boards and not giving up second chance points. Result was a 30 point quarter. Momentum. Then, they stopped.

Blake shouldn't play any minutes. As simple as that. I'll take Glock with 10-15 backup min at PG.

It will take a huge effort my Laker Brother!

Maybe you are right, I certainly hope so....but something seems off with this group. Maybe we luck out and someone else knocks them out before we meet them in the playoffs?

I will certainly be rooting for them, I can promise you that even if I have my doubts. I wish Kobe could turn back Father Time, I hate seeing him getting old.

By whom? Certainly not the Lakers.....

Spurs, OKC, Miami = 2 teams deep
Chicago,Dallas,Clips,Memphis = 1.5 teams deep
Lakers,Orlando,Philly = starters are good, that's about it

Depth = Championships

Dude...we're they're worst nightmare. They cannot match us inside, and they know it. So all they can do is out hustle us....which they did...but out hustling us is different than beating us. We can fix the hustle part.

Just lower the expectations a bit and you'll be alright. This isn't a championship team but they're still a good team that might go on a good playoff run.

Not in a 7 game series, especially if we do not have HCA, which obviously we would NOT have !

Yes.

But Jimbo and the other Buss's can celebrate all the money they are saving while on early vacation in Cancun!

LO - 12 pts, 4 rebs, 3 assists in 23 min

Lakers bench 14 pts, 5 rebs, 4 assists in 60 min.

Dude, they wiped the floor with the Lakers, not once, but twice... I love the Lakers but my new glasses work pretty well....the starters are all the Lakers have... hustling more may win a home game or 2 in the playoffs but, they are going to get KILLED by the legit contenders...

I would be pissed if we won a ring being coached by MB.. he doesn't deserve it at all... No wonder LeBron never won nothing in Cleveland...

Perhaps, but good playoff runs are hard to accept if they don't end with a ring. As Lakers fans we've been spoiled with success, and our fan base has never been one to be satisfied with just making it to the WCF or the Finals. It's championship or bust, regardless whatever drama there is during the course of a season. Getting swept in the first round, or losing Game 7 in the Finals, it probably stings just the same to a lot of us.
