tonight, the same thing happened again -- we gave up all the lead during the period when steve blake was our PG.
BUT BUT...we still had the control of the game, with bynum dominating inside -- then his playground cockiness took over, and we lost all of our momentum
can't expect kobe to rescue us again in the 4th afterwards -- his monthly quota of one single +50% shooting game was fulfilled against the clippers earlier this week.
thus who else would you blame?
now the question is -- if dhoward is once again available, would you ship out bynum's immature ass right away for d12? |
SO Howard over there orlando embarrassing his organization firing his Coach and holding his team hostage . and he is Mature?
then we hear the only reason he committed one more year is because he was on the verge of being traded to lakers and you guys still want this guy? |
suggest you read through my post again -- i'm presenting it as a question to you all, not a statement -- would you rather have bynum with his on-court immaturity, or d12, with his off-court divaness (at least he mostly performs during the game) |
Dwight Does not Want to be Laker so it doesn't matter. |
if he's under contract by the time he's available again as a trade piece after this season, it really doesn't matter what he "wants"...a trade scenario will be there. |

The energy guys (Barnes & McRoberts) showed up but they couldnt lift the slow starters. When World Peace seems to be the only player scoring at ease then your team is in trouble. Bynum not playing hard till he gets pushed by Dalembert then gets kicked out hurt. Pau sleepwalking hurt. Kobe struggling to score (the shin maybe? Looked hobbled in the 4th and dunked off his right leg?)hurt. Just a bad game against a scrappy team who knew they could beat them tonight. |

What are you watching?? LOL |
Sessions has more of a nagging injury than Pau or Bynum. He missed a lot of gimmes. Rockets were just unconcious from downtown. Even camby hit a three.
Sessions only had 28 minutes compared to 38. His numbers aren't going to be as good when he has Blake filling him in for most of the slaughter. |
Pau was 5 of 11 (ONLY 11 SHOTS? IN A GAME WHERE DREW GOT EJECTED? CAN'T WE BLAME MIKE CLOWN FOR NOT CORRECTLY USING HIS RESOURCES?), to end up with 14 points, 10 boards, 5 assists, 1 block, 2 turnovers.
Pau was -1. Ummmm, let me see, the Lakers lost by... 5 points! To give you an example, Kobe (and I am not blaming him for the loss!) ended up with a -16. They played the same amount of minutes.
So... NO, it wasn't Pau's fault. Most of Scola's points came on McRoberts, Bynum and Murphy. If Scola ends up with a +23 and Pau ends up with a -1, it means that obviously they didn't face each other a lot on the game.
Just to make you understand it, in a stretch in the 4th quarter, Scola scored 4 on Murphy and 4 on MWP WITHOUT MISSING A SHOT. That's (bleep) 8 points. With Pau guarding him, he scored 2 in the 4th and Pau blocked him once.
So unless you prove your point with facts, you're just a Pau hater.

Bynum is a freaking genius. He proved to the Lakers how important he is if he's not playing. |

Yep. Still one of the best all around big men in the nba. He was probably fatigued tonight. 5 games in 7 days. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

the dunce cap goes to him. i've never seen a more humiliating ejection. |
because it never should of been called.. thats why. Players don't get ejected in games for taunting. |
it was cumulative. he was barking non-stop since the dalembert foul, which he totally overreacted to. |
his first tech was also odd... it was not even that hard a foul...
what's up with Bynum lately is bizarre... it's like he's rebelling like a teenager would. odd. |
This.
I realize Bynum isn't our only problem but I hope he has the ability to learn from his mistakes. So far, with the events of the past couple weeks, it doesn't appear so. |

When the starting center is in the locker room, you play with what you have. Dont deflect Bynum's immaturity on Pau. |

not to mention that in those 5 games, he logged 36, 40, 41, 38, and 37 minutes. kobe's been playing similar minutes and our big four are all playing through some injuries. it's a tough balance of balancing going into the playoffs with a better seed or going in hopefully slightly healthier. |

MB's decision to go with Murphy for 4 minutes and Blake for too long killed our defense. |

Yep, Dalembert's and Camby's points weren't off of Bynum and Gasol as well. It's not just Scola, their entire frontcourt dominated.
Sessions only got 28 minutes, get that through your head.
Not just Pau I'm playing, it's Bynum as well. |
