Is it too late to get on the Goudelock bandwagon? If not, I get the feeling it'll be a short trip. Kings D was getting sloppy pushing at that point but he attacks and can hit the shots. World of difference seeing him, an actual guard, on after Ebanks (who, in all respect, has done well enough in pre-season he's just in the wrong position at SG).
If the Princeton can run to carry Jamison and give him looks, why can't it work for Goudelock too?
MB was taking the piss with DJO, two minutes? I think that's actually kind of disrespectful, if you're going to cut him, just do it ffs.

Because he can't consistently take guys off the dribble. |
If coach Brown wasn't so by the book he would use Goudelock with some of the starters. This way he catches the defender running at him
Playing with 4 bench players now you have to create off the dribble a lot more. Brown is by the book so that will never happen
Phil would sometimes go with Farmar, Sasha and Kobe at SF. Brown would never think of that because Kobe is a shooting guard |
Naw he would put blake at the 2 instead |

I can't see how we'll be any different in the regular season. When the starters were out there we weren't even winning. And if you say it'll be different because there will be two starters at all times that would mean nash and kobe's minutes would be way up or that metta and pau will be leading a bench. (yikes) Of course it could be dwight and (fill in the blank) but that can easily lead to him in foul trouble.
We have no one who can create their own shot off the bench. We cut that player in CDR. And although this is just a preseason, the confidence of the bench is definitely affected. Just look at all the hesitating and turnovers created from them.
If we're sticking to the princeton offense, it's going to be a long season and likely at the expense of homecourt advantage |
