Yeah if we had shot just 71% we would have won. Yay, I can do math...

When you stop ROFL look at the stats. Yes we played a lousy game but we lost it at the FT line.

Because Mike Brown could not recognize MWP playing like crapadoodleboogly if his life depended on it.

1000 free throws a night. Get it.

I'm sick.

We are so much better than this.

(bleep) you mike brown, (bleep) you in you stuipid (bleep) hole, teeth and all...

(bleep) potato head and his "bucket of parts"! Is that where you found your rotations you idiot!

Advice for (bleep) head brown, play your players to their streanths and arrange your lineups accordingly.

Also, in game adjustment is a GOOD thing, use your roster tou (bleep) moron!

Ok, my rant is over for now.

Unless I see a replay of Metta running the break and not being benched....that (bleep) again and I'm going to (bleep) loose my nuts!

Anyone eles notice by the 3rd quarter the entire starting lineup was not interested anymore, the dismissive looks Nash and Kobe gave to the bench potato?

Just an all-around ugly game. Too many turnovers and not enough hustle on the boards. Missed free throws are to be expected. Hey, there's to secret to beating the Lakers! Just hack a Dwight!

It's early but I've seen enough of Brown last year and the preseason to know he's not a winner and that he will never be a winner. He can't coach stars, he can only coach scrubs to mediocrity but he can't take stars to the top - sort of like Del Harris. Jimmy Buss made some great moves this summer, now he needs to complement those moves by getting rid of Mike Brown.

Other than Brown, FT shooting was bad, like junior high bad. Also, Metta is a horrible fit for this offense. They should scrap the Princeton offense and just let Nash run the show.

That was definitely a positive we could take out of this game

Let's all calm down and forget this loss, treat it as a chemistry experiment. I give Lakers another game or two to gel. If we begin the season 0-3 then I would really start to worry. The offense might take some time to incorporate. But the effort on defense and rebounding isn't apparent. Gotta bring it everynight despite the level of competition.

Even a lousy 21 for 31 from the FT line would have won this game.

I don't like this new unselfish Kobe. Also, Howard should get way more touches in the paint. The only time Metta should be allowed to dribble the ball is when he is in a mismatch in the paint.

Free throws were the reason we lost tonight. 12-31 is just pathetic. Howard really can't shoot 3-14 all the time if we want to win, especially because he will most likely be getting the most free throws. Unfortunately neither Nash nor Kobe shot any FTs tonight so our total percentage was like 38%.

Yet so many people have argued that it wouldn't matter, because we have good ft shooters in nash and kobe.

NO, because most FTs will be drawn by dwight.

Still haven't learned that it's your personal attacks, not your (admittedly lousy) opinions that keep getting you in trouble? Word to the wise, you want me to forget you exist, not call me out.

Does it make you wonder how Kobe shoots 14 times and doesn't get a single foul call? Has that EVER happened to Lebron?

Anyone else have more respect for Lebron? I'm shocked he had a finals appearance, consecutive 60+ win seasons with the Cavs.

The Mavs were just more aggressive than the Lakers. That first half steal by Collison on Nash pretty much exemplified the entire game. The team needs to take care of the ball better and to make more free throws. Take care of these two things and the team would look a lot better.

Only time in Steve Nash's career he scored under 10 points and 5 assists with over 20 minutes.

I'm fearful. Mike Brown saud he's going to stay with the PO. If he doesn't have a change of heart I believe it's going to be a long season.

Stop focusing on the fking freethrows...we gave up 71% shooting to a dallas team without dirk

And we struggled on offense, with nash unable to do his thing and howard getting little touches

And we didn't lose the previous 8 games because of FTs...remind you that we got blown out EVERY SINGLE FREAKING GAME
