nash may not ever come back. This sounds eerily similar to Bynum's troubles.

Early retirement fears.

Lakers win the next three and go 3-1 on the road trip. Tomorrows game will turn the season around.

They are one of the worst rebounding teams. We definitely need to take advantage of that (Howard and Hill).

But the NY Knicks are balling right now. It could be a fun game to watch. But it could turn ugly.

Reminds me of 2004 when Karl Malone got hurt after going his whole career without being hurt.

Called it last game and I call it again this game: we lose.

Knicks will get the crowd going early and we never lead.

Anyone got information on whether Jordan Hill will start again? Right now I'm putting Jamison.

Will watch regardless of how they play, but I hope for a miracle they somehow pull this game and win it, if not, it's highly unlikely the Lakers will able be to recover from being 9-14.

Since the 80s? I guess you're one of the long time Lakers' fan. It's great to have fans like you on here.

We don't need a miracle..limiting your turnovers and getting back on defense doesn't take a miracle, its just effort and the right mindset..

Only thing that might take a miracle is Dwight hitting his free throws..

Its not like we are a bad team like the Bobcats or something who don't have the talent to win, we just aren't playing the right way

Playing the right way is fixable, talent is not

It's not a big difference and the schedule they have coming up favors them, but if they lose to the Knicks they'll be 9-14, which means they would have to win 5 in order to be .500, will they do it without Nash? Remains to be seen.

Thank you! Started in the late 80s, '88 to be exact... when I was a young kid just started watching the Lakeshow with my grandparents. Glad I witnessed some Kareem sky hook live action before he retired.

Getting a shocking win here would do a lot to jump start a much needed turn around. I must be an optimistic fool, because I can't help but think we will pull this one out.
