I will certainly relish this win and being .500 because not sure how long it will last.

I thought it was weird they put a big guy out on the perimeter to guard him when they had no help defense. It's easy for a guard to get around the big guy and beat him to the basket.

Another pathetic performance, giving up a 16 point lead at home. NO ball movement, Kobe takes over, horrific last few minutes. Yes he made some shots but 4 guys stand around while he holds the ball and gives it away multiple times.

The ball should be in Nash's hands, this offense is so horrific to watch when Kobe takes over.

Nash had his share of TOs this game as well. The execution as a whole was horrific and when that happens, Kobe simply senses it and takes it over, win or lose. The coach and the team has that much more confidence in Kobe's ability to win the game for them. But, it still has to come from a better offense and that is MDA's job to not have him iso and spread the floor every trip. And, he just said postgame that that was his strategy.. it is just MDA not being that great of an in-game coach.

Kobe, Nash and Dwight with a triple nickle TO combo. I am amazed we won this game.

Yeah he was. He bailed himself out of this one but it shouldn't have even come to that.

Daymnnn. Kobe went off, he was just sooo pumped this game. Reminds me of the utah series during our first championship. I do agree we went to his isos a tad much in the 4th, but heck of a game.

Fear of Kobe posting up most likely. Kobe is killer in the post.

Yeah, but we don't have a choice now. I mean Dr. Buss' dying wish was to see showtime one more time.

The Lakers did win, right? The got a win over a team a winning record and in a close game. Lets take these wins & stop over analyzing them.

You can't hate Kobe if you're a Laker fan. He's a basketball god and delivered us 5 rings. He just played stretches of bad ball tonight that put us behind the 8 ball. He played great in crunch time and secured the W but you can't count on that every night. If they play good team ball for 48 minutes and they win by 20. I wish they would quit playing with fire.

sure.. ideally, we don't turn the ball over as much and Kobe, nash and dwight keep their minutes low. we don't shoot as many 3's and dwight can make FTs.

minus the TO's.. say if it was at an acceptable 13 or 14? we're up 10+ and we win easily.

though its nice to grind out some wins..

People need to realize.. what's the other option? go inside to dwight? he gets fouled and keeps missing FTs?

no thanks. it was an ugly game. we pulled it out.. on Kobe's shoulders.
