I am surprised by the outcome after seeing Pelicans with a huge lead... how did we come back?

I sorta feel sorry for NO.

That was one of the most embarrassing losses I've seen.

I'm puzzled. Stu kept saying they called a time out to get Dwight of the game so they couldn't foul. I thought the rule was if you foul off the ball in the last 2 minutes you got 2 shots and the ball?

yes, but teams can use their five defenders on the out of bounds play to block the passing lane to all but howard, meaning howard ends up getting the ball and then they can foul him.
that is why.

Im more puzzled over Stu's comment about how Kobe could be a laywer (when the topic of Clark & Kobe watching Court TV was mentioned). I know good ol' Stu meant something different but with Kobe past legal issues I felt a bit uncomfortable

Well Dwight got the ball after he blocked the dunk so technically they could have fouled him right then and there and he would have had to go shoot 2 FTs. Instead the second Dwight go the ball, Kobe signaled for the time out so they didn't have a chance to foul right away (even if he passed it off to Nash, the Hornets could have fouled him 'on the pass' even if he had already released the ball)
